  I awoke to the hummid tempetures of the barrack's I looked around and found only a few bunk's with over crouded ocupants it was the final day of our training we all were acited to get the drill sargent out of our hair I rememberd a quote from the recruter he said son have you seen the world what if I told you you could and all you have to do is carry this flag and this gun I said that sound's alright next thing I new was I'm sitting in this truck with a couple of other guy's lookin out the back I saw the road and another truck we all got off at this base called fort riley I said to myself a hero of war yeah that's what I'll be and when I come back they'll treat me like one  they told me to remember watch the guy in front of you and he will watch you
