Zepher coughed up blood, His time is running short   He moved on, He stumbled as he went Next he saw a Purple Furdragon, His best friend Xander "Thank you Xander.", "You saved me and my mate from a great evil." Acrosse from him was a Littler Purple Dragon, But only a little bit smaller of course Zepher smiled, His own blood staning his lips "Hay little bro.", " Sorry for tesing you about your hight all this time." "Youve growen so much from when we first met." "You'll make Crystal a fine mate Gallus." "Love her with all your heart.", "And never forget she loves you." Zepher coughed hard, He put a paw to his chest Thats it, Thats all the time he had left He went on, Half stumbling half walking in the dark cloud covered night. Zepher want over to where he will die, The one he will die with The one who filled his heart with warmth and love, The one who gave his life....meaning Shes a gourgous Purple Dragoness, Her smile makes his heart swell Her eyes shine like starlight, Her voice is a soft sweet tune that makes his heart beat with love She is Adra, She is his mate   His love, His life She.......is also dieing Adras soul and Zephers are linked, If one dies so too does the other They wouldnt have it anyother way. Zepher stood in front of her, his face filled with love and happyness She smiled back, As she layed on the cold hard stone of the last city standing She knew the end was near, She didnt mind that there lives are about to end She spread a wing open for him, Beckoning him to join her Zepher walk over to her, She smiled that same smile that he has As he laied next to her she draped her wing over him, He snuggled close to her This is where they would die, This is there last night togeather They looked to the East, The sun was rising This is a wonderful day, The evil that plaged the world is gone The world would heal with time, As will the people of the land Dragons and Furdargons would work togeather, They would rebuild the world as friends The War is over, Many thousands had died But the tally of the dead wasnt finished, There were still two more yet to die Zepher and Adra, The last two to die.....in the longest war the world had ever seen   The sun started to rise, It cast its warm brillient light on the land It was time. Adra closed her eyes first, Purring softly to her mate "I love you" Then her heart began to slow, Those would be the last words she spoke to him Zepher turned his head, And laied it next to hers He purred to her softly, And spoke his final words "I love you" Though he said what she had said, They both knew they loved each other They didnt have to say it, But they did say it with all there hearts The sun was half way up, The Dawn of a new era was about to begin While the lives of two, Were about to end Everyone was sturing, They were all injured during the last battle They all stood up, As the sun shined on them It was over, The War is over They looked at each other, They knew it was over Zephira went over to Terradin, Her mate They huged and held each other close, They wouldnt have to see anymore die in the war Fire got to his feet, The war he'ed been fighting in all his life....was finaly at an end He went over to Serena, He had one last "duty" He wanted to preform   He held out a ring to her, And spoke five little words "Will you be my mate?", Her eyes sweled with tears Serena threw her arms around him, "Yes! Yes ill be your mate!" Xander and Gallus, They saw the whole thing They chuckled softly, It took him long enough to ask Gallus saw Crystal, She arrived with the King and Queen of the city As Gallus went to his mate, Xander saw Zepher and Adra and went over to see if they were ok The King and Queen thanked them all "Thank you all.","For what you have done" "You saved our city.", "And our people." Everyone stood and smiled with there friends and family, Theyed made it to the end Gallus looked around and asked, "Wheres Big Brother?" All there heads snapend and turned to the East, A loud roar of pain and loss They ran over to see and hear Xander, He was roaring to the heavens as he sat next to Adra and Zepher Everyone gathered, They didnt want to bleave what they knew had to be Zepher and Adra were liying in a pool of blood, Zepher curled around his mate in there deaths embrace   Xander was screaming to the heaves, Leting them know that two pure souls were going to join them Tears were streaming down his cheeks, as his cry was joined by meny others The War was over, But the cost had been high They had lost so many friends, So many familys And now they had lost two more To a long and bloody war Zepher and his mate Adra are dead There friends and family had them buired togeather, Just as they were when they died So that they will always be togeather, Even in death.
