#6 of Hound's Poetry Corner

So here is the promised, wholly unrelated, poem I mentioned in my Haiku's description. It might have a point, maybe not. My ultimate point was to force out a poem by repeating the title, and core line, over and over again. Voila!

    Just a thought,
    That's all I want from myself;
    all I could ask of you.

    Just a thought,
    a simple notion to carry on;
    to pass across the ages.

    Just a thought,
    that wonder of creation.
    Tangible and seemingly fake.

    Just the truth,
    if you would so please:
    no time for debate.

    Just some honesty,
    to keep us growing,
    to stay on track.

    Just some love,
    to unite our neighbors;
    to make us understand.

    Just a thought,
    it could happen tomorrow;
    it may be right now.

    Just a thought,
    one we've long denied.
    It's all our fault.

    Just a thought:
    that's all it ever took.
    Were we just busy?

    Just a thought.
