Well, here we have the continued experience of Damien Carter. I'm liking how easily I can write this story. Expect more!

"What the fuck?!" I threw the mirror. I looked over my hands, in a panic. My eyes dropped to my body, covered in fur. All fur.

Then, my claws shot out. I, had, CLAWS!!! I shook my hands, trying to get the claws to go back in, freaking out. I stumbled off the bed, crashing onto the floor.

Sharp ran over, but I threw him off. I could feel my spine shift, taking me into a feral state. My senses were out of control. I could smell the different medicines, my own sweat, and perfume...

My ears perked, as I heard scared breaths, and slow footsteps. I quickly turned, lashing out at the nurse sneaking up behind me. "Stay away from me!!"

I ran on all fours, sprinting to get out of the door, needing to get out. I had to get out. Sharp did this!! He had to have! He was the one who wanted me to fix it!

I dodged past several freaked scientists, before breaking through a pair of double doors. I shifted, back on my own two feet, and jumped towards a hatch on the ceiling. I landed on the roof, and howled to the moon.

I screamed my feelings, letting out my anger. Then, I sang my song, breaking my sadness. Finally, I howled with a full sense of acceptance.

I fell to my knees, panting. This felt so strange, but, that sprint, the shifting, and the howl...It felt so right.

"Damien? I-Is that you?" I frowned, surprised I hadn't sensed the person when I had first came up here. I turned, and became breathless. It was Veronica.

She looked like she had been crying. I faced her, giving a light smile. "Hey..." She seemed surprised I could talk. But, she just sighed.

"Why? Why couldn't you have just went with me? Why'd you do it?" She wasn't asking those questions. She was wishing they were true.

"I..." I couldn't find anything to say. I reached my hand over, but she pushed it aside. My heart ached, wishing for the determined scientist and the assistant.

Her composure was broken. She was no longer the woman she was. What happened to me....It broke her. "Damien. I'm sorry...This is goodbye. I'm leaving. I just...I can't deal with this anymore..." Tears streamed down her face, and she just kept shaking her head. She walked away, breaking my composure.

I couldn't believe it...

She's gone...

I stared up at the moon, looking for answers, but of course, that pale face provided none. Nothing was the same. My life may as well have been over...

----

"Get up."

I groaned, holding my forehead. That night had been a blur, but I seemed to have ended up in a hotel room, surrounded by empty bottles.

A bottle pelted my head, causing me to growl. "I said, get up!" I shook myself, getting all the bottles away from me. I slowly sat up, and tensed.

Sharp stood there, frowning. I let out a short growl, slowly standing up. My world spun around me. I definitely drank too much last night. Or maybe it was the bottle. Ah, ah, ah, thinking hurts...

"Get yourself some clothes, clean yourself up, and get outside." I rolled my eyes, as he walked out. I looked down, to make sure I wasn't naked. Huh. A pair of pink panties... How did that get there?

I checked around, looking for my boxers, but they were nowhere to be found. Great. I slid on my pants, and looked around. The only thing was the top part of a suit, a tie, and a trench coat. I rolled my eyes, not wanting to think of all the things I did last night.

I looked at myself in the mirror, smiling. I wouldn't have to shave as often. I won't miss that. I kept splashing water in my face, until looking half presentable.

My tie was tightened, and I was out the door. I froze, looking around. About a hundred people were knocked out, littering the hallway. Heh. Some night.

----

"Alright, Sharp. What do you want?" He jumped, probably not expecting me down so soon. Sharp turned, and sighed.

"Let's go to the va-" I slammed my hand on his chest, knocking the breath out of him. I loved my new strength.

"No. You've got about five nurses in there, wanting to inject me, and probably a few government officers wanting to cut me open. It isn't happening. We're taking the bus." He was certainly surprised.

Sharp sighed, and motioned for me to follow. I looked up, and shook my head. My boxers currently decorated the chandelier. Yep. Some night.

We stepped onto the bus, and I sat down, quickly unsheathing my claws in his face. "Start talking. I want to know everything."

He looked at me, obviously annoyed by me. "Fine. That box was a piece of alien technology. We had already gotten a body, but we couldn't believe it. A humanoid tiger. It was unbelievable. Then, when I saw you as a wolf, that shocked me further.

Well, I'm currently safeguarding the box. I don't want it to be the government's. Sure, we teamed up for the alien, but I found that box myself. They'll get it over my de-" I growled, letting my claws come out farther. "R-Right. Anyway, we found that the machine turns someone into these creatures, and what animal they turn into, is based on their personality, wants, fears, goals, etc... But, yeah. You're a wolf."

I unsheathed my claws. I shook my head, and put it in my hands. This was too much to take in. "You're not doing tests on me."

"Wouldn't dream of it."

"Liar." I glared at him. I slowly turned, seeing everyone staring at them. "Yes! I'm real!" My hand flew up, and yanked on the brake.

It came to a stop, and I jumped off. I tightened my tie, and disappeared into the crowd. I, will not stand for this.
