#13 of Poetry

A short poem about the importance and value of friendship.

_Friends_

What they are worth
We scarcely know
Their best foot put forth
The truth to show

What we need most
Valuable to save
Never leaves their post
Something we crave

To lose we fear
Laws we will bend
Closest comfort near
Cherished thing the Friend.
