This poem is in Spanish. Spanish is a second language for me, and I am just starting out.
Its about reflection and critical thinking of the world around us.
I've included the English translation.

_Yo Pensé_

Me siento el enojo y el temor   
Extiende por todo alrededor   
Hay así mucho dolor   
Y es triste

Todavía hay alegría   
Y hay sueños   
Nosotros todos esperamos ver   
Más allá de la oscuridad

Y todavía yo me pregunto   
¿Por qué es así? ...

 

_I Thought_   
(Translation of Yo Pensé)

I feel the anger and fear   
Spreading all around   
There is so much pain   
And it is sorrowful

Yet there is joy   
And there are dreams   
We all hope to see   
Beyond the darkness

And yet I wonder   
Why this is? ...
