#25 of Poetry

A poem about how time changes things, and that is a measurement of all the experiences we have had.

_Time_

Tic-tock
Time is prevalent
Anti-benevolent
Floats decadent
Marrow succulent
Such is the when
Tic-tock

Ding-dong
 Emotions bereft
Memories theft
Nerves intersect
Wise to protect
The mind infect
Ding-dong

Click-whurr
Joy it seems
 Memory gleams
Spot the sheen
Work as teams
Sew the seams
Click-whurr

Bing-bong
Help is aid
 Dig with spade
Past will fade
Follow the shade
Sun will jade
Bing-bong

Tic-tic
Forward is crime
Hear the chime
Pay the dime
Lost in rhyme
 Conscious is Time
Tock.
