#27 of Poetry

A poem about the connotation of sanity and what reality truly is.

_Sanity_

A frame of mind
What is truth?
 Real or reality
To oneself or to all

What are words
 Scriptures of power
Spoken control or written understanding?

What are emotions
 Chemical elements within
 Or unexplainable phenomena
From within?

Sanity by definition
 What is the norm
 But what is normal?
 If everyone is different
What is all the same?

What is to oneself
Into unto others?

Belief in what is known
 Known to you
 Or to others?
But to all ...

Hold onto what you be
 Self first
 Others second
 (But not exclusive)
 However,
Keep main idea
Towards all

Deceit unto oneself
Affects good of all.
