#30 of Poetry

A poem about the kind of eyes that peer into people's souls, and about the beauty of seeing beyond a person's appearance and seeing who they truly are.

_Sight_

The eyes are a portal to the soul
Capable of lies and of truth
Clarity of mind
 Presented for all to see
Through seeing

Chemical imbalance displayed
 Emotions of the soul
 Defined by who
 And why as well
Seen by the observer

Silence of the mute
1000 words have been said
Through the eyes
A gateway to understanding
Follow the pathway of Sight.
