I seem to have found my inspiration again. This is one of the first rhyming poems i have written in YEARS, so its good to be back in that rhythm, i always liked rhymes, even though many say it is passe.\nThis is for a friend of mine, a dragon. Thanks for sticking with me!","content":"Red the Rose\n\nBy Brett\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRed, red, red the blood\n\nRunning down the rose.\n\nBouquets of candy- pink and white\n\nIn doilied mason jars repose.\n\nOutside the hoary petals fall\n\nInto the stony bottomed mere\n\nAnd paint a picture on the lake,\n\nWhitewashed by the dying year.\n\nSweet, divine and rapt'rous glee\n\nA lilting dragon melody\n\nMy kind musician,\n\nTake up, now, your instruments\n\nAnd play a wondrous song for me.\n\nSo pipe a song about the fields\n\nOr sunken roads within The Weald.\n\nThank you!
