The follow up and, perhaps, the conclusion of the story "Just My Imagination." I decided that since the cheetah was into poetry, he might have something to say on the subject. You can figure that he is writing the day after the events of the story. Four stanzas, fourteen lines, ababcdcdefefgg rhyming pattern. I'm not too swell at stress, but hopefully it was close. Enjoy.

This searing feeling that comes from my ears
And hackles on my neck are standing straight
Adhering to the worst of all my fears
Thou' wolf who, I assume, wants us to date

The boy thinks that I know not that he stares
Or that he swoons and drops his mouth in awe
Oh joy, he might profess to me his cares
Think not, he chose to make out with his paw

Though pity is the way that I should feel
I must admit that I enjoyed the quirks
It's petty revenge for the ordeal
That you keep writing down all of my works

Ever get too close, I think you should know
Enjoy a face full of my nice hot joe
