Though I'd publish them, nothing else to do with them... The first poem is based off of a picture that I'll post. It's not mine, and i have no rights to the picture itself.
A Bright City with Beautiful Eyes

This city casts a bright array.
The moon, now not so far away.
Should I maybe want to stay?
Explore this life, I think I may.

This light forms a lovely cascade,
though all of the color has seemed to fade.
Like the wardrobe of a dapper maid,
or the night sky during a savage raid.

This light so bright, though oh so dim.
This beautiful city reminds me of him...

There he sits

There he sits,
eyes ocean blue
concealed by glasses
fashioning a flare
that matches his smile
which outshines the sun.

There he sits,
with a devious grin
ready to cause trouble
though he's still my angel.

There he sits,
his grin growing wide,
as he sees his true love
for the very first time.

He finally stands,
his arms open wide
as he clenches his lover
holding him high.

As high as the stars,
from where our love shines
as bright as his smile
until the end of our time.

Thinking of him

They said this day would never come,
the day I could say that I've found the one.
But, if this day wasn't mean't to be,
then I shall not live, not having thee.

For you are the one who has made me so happy.
A smile now covering my once lifeless face.
And you are the sculptor, who
has made this smile flourish.

Some people may forbid this love
but I could care less of their thoughts.
For all i need is your love,
to guide me through the dark,

It's been but a month,
and i have this feeling.
One I've never felt before.
The feeling that I've found the one.

Now that you're gone

You're gone, oh where have you gone?
This once bright love has gone dim.
For your half is out, and mine is still lit.

Where are you? I ask as I walk through the dark,
searching for your light, the one that's now gone.
I can feel you there, but you just watch as I break.
Darkness consuming my light.

I'm left to the darkness, and you just watch.
They corrupt me, light now gone.
Forever is now never.
Our love is but gone.

"}
