poem that I wrote a long time ago, after my first broke up with me, originally intended as a song sort of >.=.> though you won't hear it cause I think my voice sounds like crap especially through normal recording devices.

Shard and broken

 

My heart is cracked

My light is lost

Once again surrounded by darkness

My darkest fear

My worst nightmare

Hath come true

 

My love for him remains

I wait alone in the dark

With hopes of his return

Until then though

I shall forever be

Shard and broken

 

He was everything to me

All I ever wanted

All I could ever ask for

All was well

Until one fateful day

Now all is lost

And I shall forever be
