# Vince and Rocky: PART FOUR

FOUR

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Vince flopped down onto his mattress and groaned.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Oh God, what a long day. I didn't think it would end." He looked around lazily at his room, illuminated by the harsh glow of the red lights above the door. Rocky jumped a bit, startled awake by his roommate's complaints.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Oh, it's just you. You scared the hell out of me!" the orange fox chuckled a bit. "Glad to see you're back." He fidgeted a bit with his tail, awkwardly, looking down. "Vince, I, uh... I need to tell you something. It's... um... kinda important." He blushed.

_Here goes..._ he thought, taking a deep breath.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "I... like-"

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Just then, there was a knock on the door, accompanied by loud laughter.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Vince sat up slowly, groaning, "Hold that thought, I'll get it." Opening the door, he sees Keff, who was obviously drunk.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Ey man... there'sa party down in mah bulidin'... ya wanna come join in? That Summer girl yur hot for'll be there!" Keff giggles, slurring his words a bit.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Vince shrugs and nods, "May as well, God knows I could use it." He glanced back at Rocky, "Hey Rock, why don't you come to the party with me? It'll be some fun."

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Um... n- no thanks. Have fun! Be safe, okay? And don't drink, remember what I told you about that." He forced a smile and waited till the door was shut, before screaming into his pillow. "Dammit! I was so close! I was _gonna_ say it, and now I'm not sure I can!"

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He cried a bit frustratedly, before drifting off into a light sleep.

&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rocky ran through the woods happily, Vince at his side. They laugh, and Vince tackled him, licking all over his orange and white face.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Oh, I love you, Vincent!" he squeaked, happily blushing and licking the blue fox's face.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "And I love you more..." Vince whispered provocatively, kissing deeply...

&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; _Slam!_

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rocky jumped, waking up covered in sweat and breathing hard. He looked at the clock. _Two AM..._ he thought to himself.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Jesus, Vincent, where in _hell_ have you been? It's two in the morning!" he yelled, still hot and blushing from his dream.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "I was adda party... I told ya dint I?" He giggled, tripping and falling into his bed. He rolled around a bit, looking dizzy, and laughing.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "God... you were drinking weren't you? I told you not to do that!" Rocky yelled.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Nono, I dint drink... no worries, little Rockster..."

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rocky sat down on the edge of the bed and bounced up and down for a moment, shaking the whole bed. Soon enough, his roommate hopped up and vomited in their trashcan.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Ha! I knew it! You _were_ drinking!" he yelled accusingly... then, suddenly quieting with concern, "... you could get expelled, Vincent... and... I can't lose you, you're my... erm... best friend." _Among other things_, he thought silently. "Don't do it again... okay?"

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Vince looked up dizzily, "Yeah, I promise... you won't lose me... we're friends forever, I promise." He rolled over and sighed, beginning to calm and drift off.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rubbing his ears gently, Rocky sighed, and, after being certain his friend was sound asleep, lay down in his own bed.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; _Oh Vince_, he thought as he himself feel asleep, _I love you._
