# Bloody Red Sun of Fantastic L.A. : Prologue

This is the opening to a book I'm trying to write, it will have four parts, any criticism is appreciated. It's going to be a Hard Sci-Fi with character development.
Hope you enjoy.

**Some useful terms to know.**

**Klein psedo-Vulpine - alien creatures that somewhat resemble earth foxes.&nbsp; They reach about one meter in height, and weigh abour thirty five kilograms.&nbsp; They have collar bones, opossable thumbs, tri-chambered hearts, and are both bi, and quadpedal.&nbsp; When they walk bipedal their thumbs slide to be opossable, when they walk quadpedal their thumbs retract to act like dew claws.**

**UTE - the United Terra Empire.&nbsp; An empire made up of humans it is vast and powerful.&nbsp;**

**UTM - the United Terra Military. The military of the UTE.**

**Tesa-warps - Warp gates that open up temporary tesaracts so that one can travel light years without time dilation.**

**Tyrannis Regent - the supreme commander of the UTM.**

**Chancellor - the elected head of the UTE.**

**The National Assembly - the main governing body of the UTE.**

**B.C.E. - Before Common Era.**

**C.E. - Common Era.**

**U.E.E. - United Earth Era.**

**Deutschlish - a mix of German and English, it is the standered language throught the U.T.E.**

**Snarel - the mother tounge of the Klein psedo-Vulpine.**

**E.L.P. - Earth Like Planet.**

**Prologue**

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

U.E.E. - March 8, 439

Major General Petraus stood around the main holo table in the command room along with the other senior officers of the ship.&nbsp; Their was a somber silence draped around the room.&nbsp; Though it was not uncheerful, for this was the moment these men would shine.&nbsp; All their carfully laid plans would be history in just a few short moments.&nbsp; The silence was broken suddenly.&nbsp; "Major General Petraus, the first, second, and third Frigate divisions have arrived on schedule.&nbsp; Drop ships aproching in twenty seconds".&nbsp; They waited the tense twenty seconds.&nbsp; "Drop ships report all clear.&nbsp; Preparing to Travel through the Tesa-warp sir.&nbsp; On your call General".&nbsp; Major General Petraus stiffened then gave the command.&nbsp; "Travel through the Tesa-warp now".&nbsp; Their was a few more seconds silence then the head engine man reported back.&nbsp; "Successful travel sir.&nbsp; All ships confirm placement".&nbsp; Over the ship radio they heard all of their ships report in.&nbsp; "Sir awating your orders".&nbsp; General Petraus quietly grabbed the phone attached to the holo table.&nbsp; "Navi-com officer Tiaus turn on all sensors and open up fleet wide short broadcast range".&nbsp; "Yes sir". The holo table flicked to life, and gave off a three dimentional area of their surrondings.&nbsp; General Petraus quietly cleared his throat than begain to speak.&nbsp; "Men of the U.T.M. I proudly lead you all on this day of advancement of the glorious U.T.E. today we capture another E.L.P.&nbsp; I remind you this is only the seventh one found to be near the Mother Planet.&nbsp; Men I call you all to arms to capture this planet, for the glory of the U.T.E. we shall be victorius. All ships launch drop pods now"!&nbsp; At that moment all four hundred fifty drop ships in the fleet General Petraus presided over droped onto the unsuspecting planet Volerran.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Just as the drop ships entered into the Volerran atmosphere Klyzab was waking up from a nap to go play with his sister Efuvno.&nbsp; He was completely unaware that a man he would come to love and admire was about to deprive him of a possibly wonderful life and instead would alter his future forever.
