#3 of Poems and Such

This turned out a little darker than I would've liked but still its something. And no I'm not depressed in case your wondering.

Desolation I know the time has come to take me in your cold embrace
It's here in your arms that I learned of my sorrow and know what I must not become
And with a heavy heart I abandon all hope from ever being whole again
You have shown me what it feels like to die
I cannot hold back the storm that approaches
I can hear the darkness calling my name through the wind
It's mournful cry echoes in my mind and drives me deeper into madness
I hold still my nerves and stand my ground
This is how I wish to face my end
