I'm a writer. 'Nuff said. Enjoy.

_Inspiration_

The wind is flowing
Through my veins I feel
Rushing up through my chest
Quivering at the top
It's going to burst
And the mess it makes
Will enlighten humanity

My hand trembles
With ink against the page
Slashes and curves and dots
Mark my legacy

My eyes see the void
My fingers pluck matter from it
My pen records the substance
And my mind embellishes it

I let the fire burning inside
Brighten its flame until
Its work has been done

An uncovered piece of me
Lies exposed
Now the world will read it
They smile and ask
"Where does it come from?"

To which I always reply:
"It just is."
