{"sf1_id":365923,"sf2_id":"keNzPQMe","title":"Lady of Light","author":"Jake Shadow Wolf","words":440,"posted_at":"2012-04-16T04:15:00.000Z","tags":["Long","Love","Night","Poem","Poetry","Romance","Wolf","description","journey","light"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/365923-lady-of-light","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/keNzPQMe","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/1e/25/1e258875-2201-41bc-98a3-fd8fbeb84320","description":"Just something I came up with while thinking about someone special.","content":"Lady of Light.  \n She is my lady of Light  \n Never do I want her form my sight  \n Her smile is like the rays of the sun  \n I can't wait to see it come and so I run\n\nFrom the edges of the dark  \n To the brightness of the park  \n Where she sits in the shade of a tree  \n Always waiting with a beautiful, bright smile for me\n\nLady of Light  \n Your eyes shine with love even in the night  \n As the day slowly draws to a close  \n With you my heart always goes\n\nFrom Dusk to Dawn  \n Always is my spirit Drawn  \n To my beautiful Lady of Light  \n Even though she believes herself to be dark as night\n\nAs she enters my sight  \n I feel nothing but love for my Lady of Light  \n Whether it be Dawn or Dusk  \n Without her love I feel I may be no more than a husk\n\nAll men wish to have a love as true as mine  \n Yet none understand how I came upon a lady with a soul so fine  \n When I try to explain  \n All they do is complain\n\nI wish they would understand  \n That it was only through trust that I gained her hand  \n Through her Love I feel indomitable   \n Yet whenever I scare or harm her I feel Abominable\n\nIf ever her tears should fall like rain  \n I will do whatever it takes to spare her that pain  \n Should I ever fade from her Light  \n I know that the sight   \n Of a single tear trailing from her eye  \n Would make sure that I could never die\n\nLady of Light.  \n My Lady of Light you own my heart  \n You have owned it from the start  \n Forever will this poor fool be yours to call  \n Because the moment he looked into your eyes he could not help but fall\n\nMy Lady of Light  \n Please trust me to help you through any plight  \n For you are my princess and I am your knight  \n Thus will I always be willing to fight\n\nIn your name do I stand  \n Always willing to lend a hand  \n To those in need   \n Even the smallest seed\n\nLady of Light.  \n I feel your touch upon my arm  \n And through it do I know that I shall suffer no harm  \n I hear your sweet voice caress my soul  \n Thanks to this I know I've reached my goal\n\nLady of Light.  \n Death is no bar to your call  \n So long as you need me I will never fall  \n When finally you bid me to rest within your arms  \n I will know that I need not fear any demon or temptress's charms\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
