# Lady of Light

Just something I came up with while thinking about someone special.

Lady of Light.  
 She is my lady of Light  
 Never do I want her form my sight  
 Her smile is like the rays of the sun  
 I can't wait to see it come and so I run

From the edges of the dark  
 To the brightness of the park  
 Where she sits in the shade of a tree  
 Always waiting with a beautiful, bright smile for me

Lady of Light  
 Your eyes shine with love even in the night  
 As the day slowly draws to a close  
 With you my heart always goes

From Dusk to Dawn  
 Always is my spirit Drawn  
 To my beautiful Lady of Light  
 Even though she believes herself to be dark as night

As she enters my sight  
 I feel nothing but love for my Lady of Light  
 Whether it be Dawn or Dusk  
 Without her love I feel I may be no more than a husk

All men wish to have a love as true as mine  
 Yet none understand how I came upon a lady with a soul so fine  
 When I try to explain  
 All they do is complain

I wish they would understand  
 That it was only through trust that I gained her hand  
 Through her Love I feel indomitable   
 Yet whenever I scare or harm her I feel Abominable

If ever her tears should fall like rain  
 I will do whatever it takes to spare her that pain  
 Should I ever fade from her Light  
 I know that the sight   
 Of a single tear trailing from her eye  
 Would make sure that I could never die

Lady of Light.  
 My Lady of Light you own my heart  
 You have owned it from the start  
 Forever will this poor fool be yours to call  
 Because the moment he looked into your eyes he could not help but fall

My Lady of Light  
 Please trust me to help you through any plight  
 For you are my princess and I am your knight  
 Thus will I always be willing to fight

In your name do I stand  
 Always willing to lend a hand  
 To those in need   
 Even the smallest seed

Lady of Light.  
 I feel your touch upon my arm  
 And through it do I know that I shall suffer no harm  
 I hear your sweet voice caress my soul  
 Thanks to this I know I've reached my goal

Lady of Light.  
 Death is no bar to your call  
 So long as you need me I will never fall  
 When finally you bid me to rest within your arms  
 I will know that I need not fear any demon or temptress's charms
