#59 of Poetry

This is a poem about the feeling that no one can describe. Enjoy.

_It_

I don't have any words to say
What is making me feel this way
A description of my thoughts
Is not available to see
I can only do my best
And try

Something grows in my chest
A thing not physical
(Causing the effects of one)
It pokes around inside my mind
Brushing aside all my thoughts
And presenting itself to the front
It wraps its strangely warm fingers
Around my throat and holds
It creates wings of coarse paper
The pull off a steep cliff
And drag me along
Its ropes of concrete bind me
I cannot move an inch

This feeling inside
I just cannot describe
I barely know it myself.
