#65 of Poetry

I have a friend who only likes poetry that is about ninja, rhymes, is relatively short, is happy, and is organized. This is a very close friend, who doesn't normally like poetry. However, he still understands that poetry does great things for other people. Seeing as he is such a close friend, I show him my poetry all the time. I wanted him to be happy with at least one of my poems, so I wrote this one. Probably never will again. I'm going to stick to emotions and humanity. It's more my style. Anyways, here's a not-so-serious poem for those who like those. I hope you enjoy it as much as C.W. does.

_Ninja Night_

The darkness is so bright,
The wind is whispering,
Ninja hidden from sight
His blade is glistening;

He jumps into the air
Onto every rooftop,
Wiping away despair;
Defender of the crop,

Defeating all evil,
Protecting all who're poor,
Promoting what's civil;
Ninjas forevermore!
