I do believe my outlook has lightened up a little bit.","content":"We awaken to a new day\n\nA new dawn to hope, live and rest\n\nAlbeit our lives be short today,\n\nWe learn everything we see, like a pest\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nFollowing here and there, seeking greater knowledge.\n\nA sea of information, unending.\n\nin it we tread, naive yet filled with courage\n\nAmidst the frantic waves, our end impending.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nSome say hopes are made to be broken,\n\nothers say gains are obtained to be lost.\n\nYet more say nothing, blissfully ignorant of the world.\n\nI say one lives, to learn and forget, a fine balance.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhat we know, what we are ignorant of,\n\nRegardless, the minutes trudge by.\n\nThis universe suffering forevermore.\n\nTheir cries gone unheard.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI say one must live to relieve,\n\nTo be that helping hand, a light.\n\nTo be that horseback knight, a sight.\n\nTo undo the one that was to be \u0026nbsp;blight.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nFor no matter what we learn, algebra to differentials,\n\nWhere there's joy, there's pain.\n\nbest we can do is patch each other up,\n\nDozing off together, to face the new day.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWritten during AT in Alaskan tent.\u0026nbsp;\n\nCopyrighted to me, Ephemeral\\_Dreams: Do not distribute or vend without expressive permission from the author\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThanks!\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
