I understand you wish to keep you identity concealed?  \nInterviewee: No, that is not the case. I have just been told that my appearance would throw off viewers at most tv stations.  \nInterviewer: And why is that? And, how should I refer to you? What would you like to be called?  \nInterviewee: My name is Saoiste. Feel free to call me that. Even tho I am a chakat, by birth, I prefer being called \"she\" when referred too. I was a \"female\" in my soldier days, and would rather not change what has been so much a part of my life.  \nInterviewer: Ok, Saoiste. Would you mind explaining why you were told your appearance might throw off a televised show's audience?  \nSaoiste: It is simple. I am a chakat with only one gender, and only three legs.  \nInterviewer: \\*silent pause\\* How can a chakatb be only one gender?? Everyone knows chakats are hermaphrodites.  \nSaoiste:Is it a crime to be born differently?  \nInterviewer: And your leg?  \nSaoiste: A battle scar. A pack of Wargs attacked the camp. I lost my leg and the use of my right eye....others lost thier lives.\u0026nbsp; I count myself fortunate.  \nInterviewer: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. For a change in topic, why don't you tell us about yourself, and your life growing up? what made you want to be a soldier, who were your parents? do you have a mate?  \nSaoiste:When I grew up, I grew up alone. The worst thing for a chakat is solitude. I was alone because of one simple reason. WARGS. They killed everyone in my village one night, and there were not many of us. I was a baby, and managed to hide. I learned to fend for myself early on. I found a few others like me, who had managed to hide. Non of them survived past our tenth summer. By that time, I knew I was going to be alone, so, I had prepared for travel. By the time I was full grown, I was enlisted in the war against wargs for two years. I didn't know my age, and they couldn't prove I was lying, so they accepted me.  \n\\*silence for a few moments\\*  \nI met a lovelly Chakat in my time in the army. Shi was a fruad though, and , because of the devastation I felt when I discovered hir dishonesty, I heard about the expiramental surgery, and I didn't care what the risks were...I was tough, the war hadn't killed me yet, maybe this would. Instead, I became a hamster for the war scientists. I learned that having a fraud for an almost life mate was not the worst that could happen. Luckily, my service was up in two summers. I was released, and never looked back. While I do not regret serving to help eradicate the last of the wargs, at times, when I am at my lowest, my unique features seem to be nothing more than a hindrance. I have no mate, but I am talking to a very nice male of the centaroid species. For now, and probably forever,\u0026nbsp; I am a loner, a wanderer. I chose my name, you know. it is from the old world, Earth's language known as Celtic. It means ranger.  \nInterviewer: Well, that concludes our session of interview with a soldier. Have a great night folks, and Miss Saoiste, I wish you sincere better luck in life. Over and out.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
