The setting sun  
Painting the heavens  
Beauty refined  
  
A path  
Weathered  
Familiar  
  
A figure  
Wandering  
As if to forget  
  
Brown eyes

Glistening  
Woeful   
  
Trotting along the path  
Worn as he  
The lament of his love  
  
Two lovers  
A sin to the masses  
A disgrace   
  
Hardship  
Insult  
Judgment  
  
Passion  
Romance  
Happiness  
  
Pieces of the puzzle  
A portrait   
Intricate beauty  
  
Alone,now  
Departed  
But not forgotten  
  
A path  
Diverged  
He continues  
  
A feeble body  
A scarred heart  
A broken mind

 

A gentle breeze  
Evocative  
Thought  
  
Memory  
A gateway  
Times long since passed  
  
Ups   
Downs  
Day after day  
  
A warm expression  
A comforting presence   
A Lover's closeness  
  
Slowing  
Steps lessen  
Halt  
  
A bench  
A place of solace  
Repose   
  
A single tear  
A soft whisper
