The corners are quiet

The places I hide inside my mind

Where I can sleep

Find a little peace

Fill the spaces

With the me

That I keep away

Secret from everybody

&nbsp;

For fear they couldn't understand

For shame

Of what's become

Of the me I used to be

&nbsp;

Am I me?

&nbsp;

Another I outside

The one

That's hidden

Deep within

&nbsp;

An imposter

Impersonator

Liar

Thief

&nbsp;

Or is it I that is the doppelganger?

&nbsp;

Am I dreaming

Still curled up

In the recesses

Of my head

&nbsp;

Unconscious lucidity

Living in mirrors

Hiding from the light

Keeping to my corners

&nbsp;

Who is me?

&nbsp;

The me I know

Or the other that I show

To the world

Outside my sanctuary

&nbsp;

I'm still sleeping

I must be

The me I see

Is a nightmare

&nbsp;

A terrible

Disgusting

Deceitful

Whore

&nbsp;

Someone

Anyone

Please

Won't you wake me?
