I truly love the concept of fallen angels, and I decided to write about them. This poem tells of two angels who are being exiled from Heaven for having a forbidden love with each other. Yes, it does incorporate religious themes, but it is not necessarily religious, nor is it suggesting anything about religion, at least, not in my mind. I hope this is as enjoyable for others as it is for me. Most of my poetry tends to be dark and depressing, so this is an example of a slightly lighter side to my usual antics.
