she was made to dance all her life. \u0026nbsp;Lyon just watched her, amazed at the dexterity she possessed. \u0026nbsp;The moon seemed to be a spotlight on her and made her more stunning to look at.  \n  \n_\"__You like watching me Lyon?\"_she said, her back to him.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__Anybody would. \u0026nbsp;You move with such.....beauty and grace that many pokemon would think you're a trainer.\"_  \n  \nFiria giggled before hopping off the stump giving him a friendly lick on the cheek.  \n  \n_\"__You're such a charmer.\"_  \n  \nLyon blushed before they both sat mistake and got pounced on as they laughed while tumbling in the flowers. \u0026nbsp;When they recovered from their laughter, Lyon was on top of her, looking into her amber eyes as their noses touched huh Lyon?\"_Firia giggled.  \n  \nLyon was blushing so hard he thought he would die. \u0026nbsp;He felt a paw lay on his as Firia looked at him with a smile. \u0026nbsp;He smiled back as they looked back up at the stars together.\n\nAaron walked through the small woods, his heavy bag bumping against his back as he made his way through the forest trail.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_Let's hope I find a strong pokemon today. \u0026nbsp;The tournament is soon and I need a fifth one to complete my roster.\"  \n  \nHe made his way to an open field, looking at the variety of flowers and admiring the view.  \n  \n_\"_What a beautiful spot. \u0026nbsp;I've got to remember this place and bring Tracy here.\"  \n  \nLooking further in, he saw two figures near a tree stump.  \n  \n_\"_Wonder what those are?\"  \n  \nHe advanced slowly, making sure not to make too much noise. \u0026nbsp;He got close enough to see a Shinx and a Vulpix curled up together. \u0026nbsp;Both of them seem to have a smile on their faces as they slept peacefully.  \n  \n_\"_Oh boy a Shinx. \u0026nbsp;I could use an electric type on my team.\"  \n  \nReaching towards his belt, he felt for the right pokeball and smiled before pulling it off as it expanded.  \n  \n_\"_All right, go for it Zero!\"  \n  \nBoth the Shinx and Vulpix jumped up at the shout as a Poliwhirl appeared in a flash of red light.  \n  \n_\"_Poliwhirl,\" it said, taking a stance.  \n  \n_\"_Zero, use Bubble-beam.\"  \n  \nZero launched a brilliant beam of bubbles that sparkled in the sun. \u0026nbsp;The Shinx pushed the Vulpix out the way, taking the blast as it slid on the ground. \u0026nbsp;The Shinx got up, shaking its head and collecting its wits before letting out a growl, sparks of lightning coming from its fur. \u0026nbsp;Aaron smiled at that, letting a grin come across his face.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_Zero, use Bubble-beam again.\"  \n  \nZero launched another beam as the Shinx quickly dodged it before charging it with a Tackle attack.  \n  \n_\"_Zero, counter with Double-Slap.\"  \n  \nZero dodged the unskilled attack and hit the Shinx with the Double-Slap sending it sliding on the ground again.  \n  \n_\"_Alright, time to finish this. \u0026nbsp;Use Water Gun followed by Hypnosis.\"  \n  \nZero fired a jet stream of water at the Shinx, blasting it towards the stump as it hit the ground. \u0026nbsp;The circle on his stomach began to spin, catching the Shinx off guard as its eyes got heavy. \u0026nbsp;It tried fighting, but was too weak and fell asleep. \u0026nbsp;Aaron smiled, taking an empty pokeball and tossing it at the downed Shinx as it got collected into the ball.  \n  \n_\"_Yes. \u0026nbsp;Good job Zero,\" Aaron said, giving the Poliwhirl a high five.  \n  \n_\"_Whirl poliwhirl.\"  \n  \nAaron bent down and picked up the ball as it registered with a ding. \u0026nbsp;He looked at his pokedex showing the team he had now as he smiled.  \n  \n_\"_Now I should be ready for the big tournament. \u0026nbsp;Let's go Zero,\" he said, returning the Poliwhirl to its ball.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nWith a spring in his step, he headed back down the path. \u0026nbsp;The Vulpix peeked out from behind the stump it was hiding, tears in its eyes as it ran into the woods. \u0026nbsp;Why did that human have to take Lyon away? \u0026nbsp;The afternoon sun blazed up above as various pokemon went on with their daily business. \u0026nbsp;Lyon's parents were in front of the den enjoying the cool forest breeze that drifted through the trees.  \n  \n_\"__I wonder where Lyon and Firia are. \u0026nbsp;They're awfully late,\"_Lyon's mother said, cleaning her paw.  \n  \n_\"__I'm sure they are having too much fun to recognize the time. \u0026nbsp;They are still young,\"_his father chuckled.  \n  \nFiria came running up to them, tears in her eyes as they looked at her worriedly.  \n  \n_\"__Firia, what's wrong? \u0026nbsp;Where's Lyon?\"_  \n  \n_\"__The.....the human....took him. \u0026nbsp;He.....pushed me out.....the way from an attack. \u0026nbsp;He tried to fight.....back but couldn't....\"_  \n  \nShe couldn't finish as she broke down in tears. \u0026nbsp;Lyon's mother walked over and cuddled her. \u0026nbsp;His father let out a sigh before looking into the sky.  \n  \n_\"__I never thought humans would venture all the way out here.\"_  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__Should we try and go after the human? \u0026nbsp;Maybe we can still catch him,\"_his mother spoke up.  \n  \n_\"__He's on his own now love. \u0026nbsp;There's nothing we can do but pray to Arceus that the human that took him, treats him with respect and care.\"_\n\n_\"_Thanks a lot Nurse Joy,\" Aaron said, collecting his pokeballs back.  \n  \n_\"_No problem Aaron. \u0026nbsp;You take care now.\"  \n  \nAaron gave a final wave before walking out of the Pokemon Center. \u0026nbsp;He was all smiles as he couldn't wait to introduce his newest addition to his team. \u0026nbsp;He made it to his house as he took his shoes off at the front door.  \n  \n_\"_I'm home mom.\"  \n  \n_\"_Welcome back Aaron. \u0026nbsp;Did you finish your team?\"  \n  \n_\"_Sure did mom. \u0026nbsp;I got me a Shinx today.\"  \n  \n_\"_That's wonderful honey. \u0026nbsp;I hope you do good in this tournament you keep rambling on about.\"  \n  \nHe headed up to his room and closed the door. \u0026nbsp;Grabbing his pokeballs, he opened them all up as his team appeared which consisted of a Poliwhirl, Liepard, Sandslash, and a Hitmonlee.  \n  \n_\"_Hey everybody. \u0026nbsp;I'd like to introduce our newest member.\"  \n  \nAaron opened the ball as Lyon appeared. \u0026nbsp;He looked around, noticing the other pokemon and got into a fighting stance.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"Whoa_, easy there. \u0026nbsp;These are your new partners,\" Aaron said.  \n  \nLyon looked at all of them before sitting down, ears lowered and let out a small whine.  \n  \n_\"_What's wrong little guy?\"  \n  \n\"Aaron, can you go to the store for me? \u0026nbsp;I need some stuff for dinner tonight.\"  \n  \n\"Okay mom. \u0026nbsp;You guys try and cheer him up. \u0026nbsp;I'll be back.\"  \n  \nAaron walked out the room as his team looked at the Shinx.  \n  \n_\"__Welcome to the team,\"_Zero said, walking up to him only to get a growl in response.  \n  \n_\"__It's your fault that I'm here and not with my family.\"_  \n  \nLyon's growl deepened as small streaks of lightning could be seen running through his fur.  \n  \n_\"__Calm down little one. \u0026nbsp;We're on the same team here,\"_the Sandslash said.  \n  \n_\"__I don't belong here. \u0026nbsp;I belong with my mother and father. \u0026nbsp;You took me away from them.\"_  \n  \nThe Hitmonlee chuckled before sitting down monk style.  \n  \n_\"__You think you can take us all little kitty?\"_it said with a chuckle.  \n  \nLyon growled louder at that, claws digging into the plush carpet under him. \u0026nbsp;The Liepard stood up from where it was sitting and walked over to him. \u0026nbsp;Lyon gave a threatening growl but it didn't stop before sitting next to him and pulling him into a hug. \u0026nbsp;Lyon let out a gasp of surprise. \u0026nbsp;He wanted to fight back, but the warm embrace caused him to cry. \u0026nbsp;The Liepard smiled, rubbing his back softly.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__So it was a little kitty after all, crying for its mommy,\"_the Hitmonlee chuckled again.  \n  \nThe Liepard glared evilly at the Hitmonlee making it go silent as Lyon calmed down.  \n  \n_\"__Feel better hun?\"_the Liepard said with a motherly tone.  \n  \nLyon nodded softly, still looking down at the ground.  \n  \n_\"__Don't mind the big one. \u0026nbsp;He's all brawn and no brains.\"_  \n  \n_\"__Speak for yourself Rose,\"_the Hitmonlee said with a huff.  \n  \nAaron came back into the room and smiled as he saw his team. \u0026nbsp;He walked over and gently picked up Lyon before sitting on his bed.  \n  \n_\"_How do you like your new team?\"  \n  \nLyon didn't say anything except keep his head down, ears folded back. \u0026nbsp;Aaron frowned at that. \u0026nbsp;Maybe it would take some time before the Shinx opened up.  \n  \n_\"_Well guys, as you know, the tournament I want to enter is in a week. \u0026nbsp;So during that time, we'll be training hard and learning to work with each other.\"  \n  \nHis team gave a nod in acknowledgment as Aaron looked down at the Shinx. \u0026nbsp;He reached down and gave it a gentle petting along its him is Tyrant, the Hitmonlee. \u0026nbsp;You already met Zero, my Poliwhirl. \u0026nbsp;And lastly, is my girl Rose.\"  \n  \nThey all gave a slight nod at the Shinx who kept its head down, not seeming to care.  \n  \n_\"_All I need is a name for you. \u0026nbsp;Let me think here.\"  \n  \nAaron drummed his chin trying to think of a name. \u0026nbsp;He then remembered how the Shinx fought, even though he was out matched.  \n  \n_\"_How about Spirit? \u0026nbsp;I saw a fighter spirit in you when fighting Zero. \u0026nbsp;I think it fits you perfectly.\"  \n  \nLooking at the clock on his dresser he saw that it was getting late.  \n  \n\"Alright you guys, we have a long week ahead of us. \u0026nbsp;Get some sleep early and get ready for a rough week of training.\"  \n  \nHe returned them all to their balls except Spirit. \u0026nbsp;Laying down on the bed, he looked at Spirit who didn't move.  \n  \n_\"_You probably hate me for doing what I did. \u0026nbsp;I probably took you away from your family and friends and for that I'm sorry. \u0026nbsp;But I'm hoping that despite what I did, we could be good friends.\"  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nSpirit didn't move as Aaron let out a sigh. \u0026nbsp;Aaron changed into this bed clothes and got under the covers. \u0026nbsp;With a sigh, he closed his eyes. \u0026nbsp;Spirit watched him get under the covers and turn his back. \u0026nbsp;Looking out the window, he saw the full moon in all its glory. \u0026nbsp;A tear escaped his eye as he thought about what Firia was doing. \u0026nbsp;Was she looking at the same moon as him? \u0026nbsp;A small breeze made him shiver softly as he looked back at his new trainer. \u0026nbsp;With a small whine, he padded softly over to Aaron and climbed over him before cuddling into his chest. \u0026nbsp;Aaron opened his eyes half way and smiled before holding him close.\n\nFiria looked at the full moon, a tear in her eye. \u0026nbsp;Why did that human have to take Lyon away from her? \u0026nbsp;It wasn't fair. \u0026nbsp;She laid down in the field, praying to Arceus to bring him back to her. \u0026nbsp;Her ears perked up when she heard the sound of music. \u0026nbsp;Getting to her feet, she followed the beautiful melody to its source. \u0026nbsp;Peering through the bushes, she saw another human dancing to the slow melody with a Mienshao by a campfire. \u0026nbsp;They moved so fluidly together, almost like they practiced every day.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nFor some reason, the melody made her tails move with it, followed by her legs. \u0026nbsp;Soon, she was on her rear legs, moving with the music along with the other two. \u0026nbsp;Unknown to her, that they heard her and were watching her movement with amazement in their eyes. \u0026nbsp;When the music finished, they both clapped their hands snapping Firia out of her trance as she ducked into the bushes again.  \n  \n_\"_Don't run little one. \u0026nbsp;That was beautiful,\" the young lady said.  \n  \nFiria peered out from the bushes as the lady was sitting down next to the fire, the Mienshao by her side.  \n  \n_\"_Wasn't that a beautiful dance Halo?\"  \n  \n\"Mien,\" Halo replied nodding its head.  \n  \nFiria blushed, thankful that the night hid it. \u0026nbsp;The lady held her hand out towards Firia who looked nervous. \u0026nbsp;Slowly, she walked towards the out stretched hand, keeping an eye on the strange pokemon. \u0026nbsp;When she was close, she give it a couple of sniffs before a small lick making the lady smile and rub her ears softly making Firia murr.  \n  \n_\"_You are a cute one,\" the lady giggled. \u0026nbsp;\"And that dancing was simply amazing. \u0026nbsp;How would you like to dance alongside Halo? \u0026nbsp;We could use someone such as yourself. \u0026nbsp;You don't have to if you don't want to though.\"  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nFiria thought about it. \u0026nbsp;Maybe if she went with this human, she could find Lyon again. \u0026nbsp;It was a slim chance, but slim is better than none.  \n  \n_\"_Vulpix,\" Firia said with a smile and nodding her head.  \n  \n_\"_Perfect,\" the lady said. \u0026nbsp;\"You guys will make the perfect team.\"  \n  \nThe young lady let out a yawn.  \n  \n_\"_Well, I'm going to retire for the night. \u0026nbsp;Don't stay up too late Halo.\"  \n  \n_\"_Mienshao,\" Halo replied as they battle.\"  \n  \nSpirit went on the attack first with a Quick Attack catching Blade off guard but managed to dodge in time as Spirit slid on the ground, his claws out to stop himself. \u0026nbsp;Turning around, he saw Blade had disappeared. \u0026nbsp;He took a defensive stance, ready for anything. \u0026nbsp;The ground shifted under him as Blade exploded from the earth lifting Spirit into the air. \u0026nbsp;Using the momentum, Blade lashed out with Slash attack knocking Spirit onto the ground with a thud.  \n  \n_\"__What a joke. \u0026nbsp;Why did Aaron have to get a weak pokemon like him?\"_Tyrant said with a huff.  \n  \nSpirit got up on shaky legs, a growl in his throat. \u0026nbsp;His fur flashed with lightning before directing his anger at Blade. \u0026nbsp;A Thunder attack crashed down onto where Blade was, covering the area with dust. \u0026nbsp;Spirit was breathing heavily, hoping that attack did some kind of damage. \u0026nbsp;When the dust cleared, everybody saw Blade curled up into a tight ball.  \n  \n_\"_Nice thinking Blade,\" Aaron said.  \n  \nBlade uncurled with a smile on his face. \u0026nbsp;He then launched a Sandstorm attack towards Spirit, making him close his eyes. \u0026nbsp;When he opened his eyes, he saw Blade right in front of him making him gasp in surprise. \u0026nbsp;Blade hit him hard with a Metal Claw attack, sending him spinning in the air below landing hard.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__Wow, I think that was a little too much,\"_Zero said.  \n  \nToo everyone's surprise, Spirit started to move slightly, getting to his feet before falling back to the ground.  \n  \n_\"_That's a wrap,\" Aaron said. \u0026nbsp;\"Good job everybody. \u0026nbsp;Let's get you all healed up.\"  \n  \nHe returned everybody to their balls before heading to the Pokemon Center. \u0026nbsp;Once they were healed, he went back home, letting them out in his room.  \n  \n_\"_I'll be right back with some food for \u0026nbsp;Spirit didn't back down as he gave a growl.  \n  \n_\"__I'll try not to hurt you too bad little kitty.\"_  \n  \n_\"__You don't scare me.\"_  \n  \n_\"__Then I'll have to fix that.\"_  \n  \n_\"_Remember, this only a sparring match so don't use super hard attacks. \u0026nbsp;Are you guys ready?\"  \n  \nThey both gave a nod.  \n  \n_\"_Then begin.\"  \n  \nSpirit took a stance, not wanting to do what he did last time against Blade and waited for Tyrant to make the first move. \u0026nbsp;Tyrant moved towards Spirit, launching a series of kicks which Spirit dodge nimbly before seeing a brief opening, using a Quick Attack to send Tyrant sliding on the ground.  \n  \n_\"__Not bad little kitty. \u0026nbsp;But its time I stop playing around.\"_  \n  \nTyrant closed his eyes as everybody knew what he was going to do.  \n  \n_\"__Tyrant don't do that. \u0026nbsp;There's no need to go that far,\"_ Blade said.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nTyrant glowed with a Meditate move before opening his eyes and taking a stance.  \n  \n_\"__Come on kitty cat. \u0026nbsp;Let's see if you have nine lives.\"_  \n  \nSpirit let out a growl and charged him, his fur sparking with lighting. \u0026nbsp;He went for a Take Down attack, but was countered heavily by Tyrant, launching him in the air. \u0026nbsp;Tyrant waited for the right moment, his left foot covered with fire before spinning and catching Spirit with a devastating Blaze Kick. \u0026nbsp;Spirit let out a yowl of pain as he was sent flying into Aaron's father's work shed in a ball of flame.  \n  \n_\"_Tyrant!!! \u0026nbsp;That was uncalled for,\" Aaron said angrily.  \n  \nAaron was about to run into the shed, when a brilliant flash of white light came from it making everybody close their eyes. \u0026nbsp;The light died down as all eyes were on the shed in wonder at what happened. \u0026nbsp;Sparks of lightning came from the hole in the wall before Spirit crashed through it. \u0026nbsp;Aaron had a huge smile on his face.  \n  \n_\"_Alright Spirit, you evolved.\"  \n  \nSpirit felt stronger than before as he locked his eyes on Tyrant. \u0026nbsp;Tyrant let out a chuckle before taking another stance.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__Do you think that will help you?\"_  \n  \n_\"__We'll find out won't we?\"_Spirit growled.  \n  \nHe took off towards Tyrant with speed that surprised even him before striking him with several Quick Attacks, staggering the Hitmonlee. \u0026nbsp;He followed it with a powerful Discharge, paralyzing Tyrant.  \n  \n_\"__Let's see how you like this,\"_Spirit growled.  \n  \nHis fur started to spark with streaks of lightning before let out a howl as a massive thunderbolt came crashing down on the paralyzed Tyrant. \u0026nbsp;Everybody was speechless until Aaron clapped his hands.  \n  \n_\"_Excellent job Spirit. \u0026nbsp;A little over the top but I think Tyrant kind of deserved it.\"  \n  \nHe walked over and gave Spirit a scratch under his chin making him purr happily.  \n  \n_\"_Lets get everybody healed up and some food in your stomachs.\"  \n  \nHe returned everybody to their balls and headed for the \u0026nbsp;Also, it'll make you beautiful as well which will increase the odds of us winning.\"  \n  \nLuna looked at the stone in Tracy's hand. \u0026nbsp;She could feel the power of fire inside of it, beckoning her to claim it.  \n  \n_\"_I know we only known each other for a couple of days and I don't want to rush you into evolving. \u0026nbsp;But I feel with you and Halo working together, we and down the elevator to the front door where all the trainers were headed out. \u0026nbsp;He followed the crowd to a huge stadium where there was a stage in front of the door as people gathered in front of it. \u0026nbsp;The mayor watched the crowd gathered with a smile. \u0026nbsp;He waited until they all settled down before speaking into the microphone.  \n  \n_\"_Thank you all for coming to the annual pokemon tournament held in Viridian City. \u0026nbsp;For those who are new, I welcome you and hope you enjoy the event. \u0026nbsp;Right now, all of your pokedexs are being updated with the bracket along with the rules. \u0026nbsp;For the winner of the tournament, goes this beautiful gold medal and one thousand credits.\"  \n  \nAaron's pokedex started beeping meaning he got the bracket and info already.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_I wish everybody good luck.\"  \n  \nAaron smiled before heading back to the hotel. \u0026nbsp;He waited for the elevator, a slight hum coming from him. \u0026nbsp;When the doors opened, he bumped into the person coming out.  \n  \n_\"_Oh, I'm sor...Tracy?\"  \n  \n_\"_Oh, hey Aaron,\" Tracy said with a smile.  \n  \n_\"_What are you doing here?\"  \n  \n_\"_I'm here for the talent competition.\"  \n  \n_\"_Really? \u0026nbsp;I take it you're still practicing your dance moves with Halo?\"  \n  \n_\"_No. \u0026nbsp;I got him a new dance partner, a Ninetales.\"  \n  \n_\"_Cool. \u0026nbsp;When is the competition? \u0026nbsp;I would like to see your partners perform.\"  \n  \n_\"_Right after the pokemon tournament that I know you are in.\"  \n  \nAaron chuckled at that.  \n  \n_\"_Yeah, I'm hoping to win it this year.\"  \n  \n_\"_I hope so too. \u0026nbsp;Well I have to head out and get registered. \u0026nbsp;I'll be watching you fight on TV.\"  \n  \nAaron smiled before watching her leave through the revolving doors. \u0026nbsp;Hopping into the elevator, he headed back to his room where his pokemon were lounging around. \u0026nbsp;When he entered the room, they snapped to attention and huddled around him,  \n  \n_\"_Well fellas, we made it. \u0026nbsp;Let's hope all our training pays off.\"  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nThey all nodded their heads before lounging again. \u0026nbsp;Aaron laid on the couch and read the rules on his pokedex, Spirit on his stomach and he stroked his back.  \n  \n_\"Hmm_, you start off with five pokemon at the beginning and if you make it to the finals, you can only have two. \u0026nbsp;Well, I know what two I'll be using. \u0026nbsp;I'll know tomorrow who I'll be facing first. \u0026nbsp;You guys make sure not to stay up too late and get some rest for tomorrow's the big day.\"\n\n_\"_Welcome one and all to the Viridian City Pokemon Tournament!!\"  \n  \nThe crowd in the stands cheered loudly at that.  \n  \n_\"_Trainers from all around come here to test their skills and hopefully walk away a winner.\"  \n  \nAaron stood in the waiting room with the rest of the trainers. \u0026nbsp;Everybody had butterflies in their stomachs not knowing what to expect and working through their game plans in their heads. \u0026nbsp;He heard laughter in the background and knew who it belonged to.  \n  \n_\"_All you losers are wasting your time,\" Anthony chuckled. \u0026nbsp;\"I expect this to be an easy...\"  \n  \nHe noticed Aaron leaning on the wall and grinned.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_You actually showed up? \u0026nbsp;Well, at least I know I'll have some form of entertainment during this tournament.\"  \n  \n_\"_Shut up Anthony. \u0026nbsp;You're giving everybody a headache.\"  \n  \n_\"_Don't be a hater.\"  \n  \nThe referee walked in as everybody stopped talking.  \n  \n_\"_Alright, the tournament will now begin. \u0026nbsp;May the best trainer win.\"  \n  \n\"That'll be me,\" Anthony spoke up.  \n  \nThe tournament started with a bang. \u0026nbsp;The crowd cheered on every trainer, whether they won or lost. \u0026nbsp;Trainers that won, went over and shook the hand of the loser in a show of good sportsmanship. \u0026nbsp;They gave it their all in an effort to become the winner, but it all came down to Aaron and Anthony. \u0026nbsp;Aaron was in the waiting room, wiping a little bit of sweat from his forehead.  \n  \n_\"_Okay, I made it to the finals and yet again, I have to face Anthony. \u0026nbsp;Arceus has a cruel sense of humor.\"  \n  \nHe looked at the two pokeballs he would be using in the finals and gave a smile.  \n  \n_\"_I'll be counting on you two, you most of all Spirit.\"  \n  \nAnthony walked by laughing.  \n  \n_\"_Guess it's me and you again. \u0026nbsp;Same old story with the same ending. \u0026nbsp;Why not just give up now and save yourself some humility?\"  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nAaron ignored him as the referee came into the waiting room.  \n  \n_\"_Are you two ready for the final battle?\"  \n  \n_\"_Ready here,\" Aaron said.  \n  \n_\"_I'm good to go,\" Anthony replied.  \n  \n_\"_Excellent. \u0026nbsp;Head to the stage and get ready.\"  \n  \nAaron walked to the stage door, his two pokeballs in hand. \u0026nbsp;He closed his eyes, feeling a rush of anxiety come over him as he took a deep breath.  \n  \n_\"_Alright, here we go,\" he said, hearing his name called.  \n  \nHe walked out to a loud round of applause as he gave a small wave. \u0026nbsp;Anthony was already on the stage with his arms crossed waiting. \u0026nbsp;The referee walked up and spoke to both of them.  \n  \n_\"_This is the final battle. \u0026nbsp;You can only have two pokemon for this fight. \u0026nbsp;Are you ready?\"  \n  \nThey both nodded their heads as the referee held his arm up.  \n  \n_\"_Then let the final battle begin.\"  \n  \nAnthony smiled before releasing his Lucario onto the battlefield.  \n  \n_\"_You remember Jedi don't you Aaron? \u0026nbsp;Of course you do.\"  \n  \nAaron gave a growl before releasing Tyrant. \u0026nbsp;Tyrant looked at Jedi and gave a growl himself when Jedi chuckled.  \n  \n_\"__You think you can beat me this time around?\"_Jedi smiled evilly taking a stance.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__We'll find out today won't we?\"_  \n  \nThey went at it full strength, exchanging blow for blow as the crowd cheered at the display of moves used. \u0026nbsp;Aaron watched with a keen eye, happy to see that Tyrant was using his training to the full extent as Jedi was beginning to breath a little hard.  \n  \n_\"_Jedi, stop playing around with this guy and finish him off.\"  \n  \nJedi jumped back, hands to its side preparing a Shadow Ball.  \n  \n_\"__Let's see how you handle this one.\"_  \n  \nJedi launched the Shadow Ball as it zoomed towards Tyrant. \u0026nbsp;Tyrant stood his ground, holding his hands out as the attack pushed him back with a grunt.  \n  \n_\"_Hang in there Tyrant,\" Aaron called out.  \n  \nTyrant let out another grunt before digging in deep and throwing the ball back at Jedi. \u0026nbsp;Jedi was stunned before jumping in the air as the ball exploded.  \n  \n_\"__Look out below,\"_Tyrant yelled.  \n  \nJedi looked up in time to see Tyrant come down on his head with a devastating Blaze Kick knocking him to the ground with a bang as the crowd cheered. \u0026nbsp;Tyrant landed back on the ground as he watched Jedi try to get up but fell back to the ground.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_Jedi is no longer able to battle. \u0026nbsp;The first round goes to Aaron.\"  \n  \nTyrant let out a sigh of relief before walking back to Aaron.  \n  \n_\"_Great job Tyrant. \u0026nbsp;I knew I could count on you.\"  \n  \nAnthony let out a huff as he recalled Jedi back into his ball.  \n  \n_\"_You got lucky Aaron. \u0026nbsp;But let's see if you can take on my strongest pokemon.\"  \n  \nHe tossed the ball into the air as it opened up revealing an Absol. \u0026nbsp;Tyrant let out a chuckle before walking up.  \n  \n_\"__This is his strongest? \u0026nbsp;Oh my, whatever shall I do?\"_  \n  \nThe Absol didn't say anything as the referee held his hand up.  \n  \n_\"_Let the second round begin.\"  \n  \nBefore the referee could lower his hand, Tyrant was on the ground. \u0026nbsp;The crowd was stunned at the speed of the knockout before cheering loudly. \u0026nbsp;Aaron was shocked himself as the Absol walked calmly back to Anthony's side.  \n  \n_\"_I told you she was my strongest,\" Anthony chuckled, petting the Absol's back as it murred.  \n  \nAaron recalled Tyrant with a sigh. \u0026nbsp;He took his last ball out and looked at it.  \n  \n_\"_It's up to you now Spirit.\"  \n  \nHe released Spirit as he stood ready. \u0026nbsp;Anthony laughed at that before shaking his head.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_Is this a joke? \u0026nbsp;You think that Luxio can stand up against Angel?\"  \n  \n_\"_Don't underestimate him.\"  \n  \n_\"_Whatever dude. \u0026nbsp;Angel, make this quick please.\"  \n  \n\"Sol,\" Angel replied walking up.  \n  \nSpirit walked up as they circled each other.  \n  \n_\"__Do you think you'll last against me?\"_Angel asked, showing an evil grin.  \n  \n_\"__I've been up against worse.\"_  \n  \n_\"__That's what you think. \u0026nbsp;Don't worry, I'll make this quick and very painful.\"_  \n  \nAngel went on the offense, closing the gap quickly with her speed before launching a Slash attack. \u0026nbsp;Spirit dodged it nimbly before countering with a Take Down knocking Angel across the ring. \u0026nbsp;She got up, shaking her head before giving Spirit a death glare.  \n  \n_\"__Nobody has ever hit me before. \u0026nbsp;For that, you will suffer dearly.\"_  \n  \nShe let out a howl as a storm of leaves circled around her body before moving towards Spirit. \u0026nbsp;Spirit let out a large Discharge, burning the leaves before they could do serious damage. \u0026nbsp;Before he could recover, Angel was in front of him making him gasp before yelping in pain from an Iron Tail attack. \u0026nbsp;Angel was like a blur on the ring, striking Spirit over and over with Iron Tail.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__This fight is over.\"_  \n  \nShe opened her mouth, charging a Hyper Beam that would finish the job. \u0026nbsp;Spirit got to his feet weakly, his body racked with pain with every breath he took. \u0026nbsp;He looked over at Angel, seeing the attack she was preparing. \u0026nbsp;He wanted to move out the way, but his body wouldn't let him. \u0026nbsp;Angel let the Hyper Beam loose as it zoomed in on Spirit.  \n  \n_\"_Spirit, move!!\" Aaron shouted.  \n  \nThe Hyper Beam connected with an explosion, flinging Spirit hard into the wall making a hole in it. \u0026nbsp;The crowd let out a cheer as Anthony laughed.  \n  \n\"Look like that's game, set, and match.\"  \n  \nThe referee was about to call the match when a bright light came from inside the hole making the crowd go quiet. \u0026nbsp;Aaron smiled as he knew what that meant. \u0026nbsp;Spirit exploded out the hole, landing on the ring with clash of lightning and let out a roar. \u0026nbsp;Anthony raised an eyebrow at this unforeseen turn of events.  \n  \n_\"_Interesting. \u0026nbsp;It evolved into a Luxray. \u0026nbsp;Maybe this won't be a dull fight after all.\"  \n  \nSpirit let out a menacing growl, little sparks of lightning coursing through his fur. \u0026nbsp;Angel let a grin appear on her muzzle before taking a stance.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__I guess I didn't do a good job of finishing you off. \u0026nbsp;Next time will be a different story.\"_  \n  \n_\"__There won't be a next time. \u0026nbsp;I'm going to finish this!\"_  \n  \nAngel growled before howling as another storm of leaves surrounded her. \u0026nbsp;Spirit didn't give her a chance to finish as he struck quickly with a Thunder attack, making her drop the Razor Wind and dodge out the way. \u0026nbsp;She used her speed to sprint towards Spirit, her tail going solid as she lashed out with an Iron Tail. \u0026nbsp;Spirit timed it perfectly as he grabbed it between his jaws. \u0026nbsp;With a smile, he let loose a strong Discharge, making Angel howl in pain as the volts of electricity coursed through her body.  \n  \n_\"_Spirit, finish her off,\" Aaron said with a smile.  \n  \nSpirit used Double Team, creating a copy of himself before going on the offense with Night Slash, knocking Angel into the air before he let loose a giant Thunderbolt, sending Angel back down to the ground with a bang as the crowd cheered. \u0026nbsp;The referee waited for a moment to see if Angel would get up. \u0026nbsp;When she didn't he raised his hand towards the corner where Aaron was.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_Absol is no longer able to battle. \u0026nbsp;Therefore the winner is Aaron.\"  \n  \nAaron let out a cheer before running up and hugging Spirit who let out a purr.  \n  \n_\"_I knew you were my ace in the hole.\"  \n  \n\"Lux luxray,\" Spirit said happily, getting his chin scratched.  \n  \nAnthony recalled Angel before letting out a huff. \u0026nbsp;He walked over to Aaron and held out his hand.  \n  \n_\"_I guess I misjudged you. \u0026nbsp;That was a good fight.\"  \n  \n\"I told you not to underestimate him. I guess this proves who the real winner is huh Anthony?\"\n\nAnthony looked at him before chuckling.  \n  \n\"I'll let you have this victory now. Don't get too cocky because you one up me today.\"\n\nAaron grinned before petting Spirit's head.\n\n\"We'll be waiting for you then, won't we Spirit?\"\n\n\"Lux,\" Spirit added.\n\nAnthony turned and left the stage\u0026nbsp;as the referee came over and held his hand up, the crowd cheering for the victor. \u0026nbsp;Afterwords, the crowd left the stands with lots of chatter about the tournament as Aaron was met with by the mayor.  \n  \n_\"_Great job out there son,\" he said, shaking Aaron's hand.  \n  \n_\"_Thank you sir.\"  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_I think you earned this medal and credits. \u0026nbsp;Try not to spend it all in one place.\"  \n  \nAaron had a smile as he got the medal. \u0026nbsp;Looking at Spirit, he placed the medal around his neck.  \n  \n_\"_I think you earned this more than me.\"  \n  \n_\"_Luxray,\" Spirit said, giving Aaron a lick on the cheek.  \n  \nAaron laughed at that before hugging him.  \n  \n_\"_Come on, I think we all deserve a nice, long rest.\"\n\nAaron was all smiles as he was at the Pokemon Center getting his partners healed. \u0026nbsp;People were walking up and congratulating him on a great battle with pats on the back and hand shakes. \u0026nbsp;After getting his pokemon fixed up, he headed back to his hotel room and let everybody out.  \n  \n_\"_I just want to thank all of you for your hard work and effort. \u0026nbsp;Thanks to you, we were able to win it all.\"  \n  \nThey all gave a smile as Aaron gave Spirit another hug.  \n  \n_\"_But most of all, I'd like to thank Spirit here for not giving up even though he was out matched. \u0026nbsp;He showed real courage today.\"  \n  \nHis phone started to vibrate in his pocket as he dug it out and answered it.  \n  \n_\"_Hello?\"  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__Hey son, how was the tournament?\"_his mom spoke up.  \n  \n_\"_It was great mom. \u0026nbsp;I won, thanks to Spirit.\"  \n  \n_\"__That's great honey. \u0026nbsp;I'll be there in about twenty minutes to pick you up.\"_  \n  \n_\"_Okay, I'll be ready.\"  \n  \nSpirit felt proud inside. \u0026nbsp;Not only did he get to the last stage of evolution, but he helped his trainer win. \u0026nbsp;Rose padded over and gave him a lick on the cheek.  \n  \n_\"__Good job today Spirit. \u0026nbsp;You really made Aaron happy.\"_  \n  \n_\"__I'm glad I could help. \u0026nbsp;I'm also thankful for his help in me being able to evolve fully.\"_  \n  \nAaron click on the TV as the talent contest was being shown. \u0026nbsp;The camera got a close up of Tracy watching her partners closely.  \n  \n_\"_Hey, there's Tracy.\"  \n  \nEverybody looked at the TV as the camera focused on the dancing pokemon on the stage.  \n  \n_\"_Looks like Halo and his dancing partner are in top form.\"  \n  \nSpirit watched the Mienshao spin the Ninetales in his arms before hugging it close. \u0026nbsp;Something caught Spirit's eye as he looked at the Ninetales more closely. \u0026nbsp;During another spin move, he saw the ribbon attached to one of its tails as he recognized it immediately.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__FIRIA!!\"\u0026nbsp;_he yelp standing up.  \n  \n_\"__What's wrong Spirit?\"\u0026nbsp;_Blade asked.  \n  \n_\"__That's Firia,\"\u0026nbsp;_he said again.  \n  \n_\"__Oh, is that the mon you were hoping to find again?\"\u0026nbsp;_Rose added.  \n  \n_\"__Yes it is. \u0026nbsp;Where is that place? \u0026nbsp;I have to go to her.\"_  \n  \n_\"__That's the stadium we were just at the for battle.\"_  \n  \nSpirit got up and ran to the door, scratching at it, desperate to go to the pokemon that he missed more then anything. \u0026nbsp;Aaron looked at him confused.  \n  \n_\"_What's wrong Spirit?\"  \n  \n\"Luxray luxray lux,\" Spirit replied, still scratching at the door.  \n  \nHe got frustrated and was about to just shattered the door when Aaron walked up behind him.  \n  \n_\"_Spirit calm down, you're starting to worry me. \u0026nbsp;Do you need to go the bathroom or something?\"  \n  \nSpirit let out a growl and walked to the TV and pawed at it.  \n  \n_\"_You want me to change the channel?\"  \n  \nHe shook his head.  \n  \n_\"_You want to go the contest?\"  \n  \nHe nodded his head yes.  \n  \n_\"_I would love to go myself, but my mom is coming to pick us up any minute now.\"  \n  \nSpirit let out a whine, a single tear forming his eye. \u0026nbsp;He finally found Firia, only to have the hope of seeing her in person dashed away. \u0026nbsp;Walking to a corner of the room, he laid down, his back to everybody. \u0026nbsp;Rose walked over to him only to get a warning growl.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"__Leave me alone.\"_  \n  \nAaron looked at Spirit, confusion hitting him before his phone rang.  \n  \n_\"_Hello?\"  \n  \n_\"__I'm downstairs waiting for you. \u0026nbsp;Come on down.\"_  \n  \n_\"_Okay mom, be right there,\" he said hanging up. \u0026nbsp;\"Okay fellas, time to go.\"  \n  \nHe returned everybody to their balls before looking at Spirit.  \n  \n_\"_Come on Spirit, time to go home.\"  \n  \nSpirit only replied with a growl, little sparks of lightning running through his black mane. \u0026nbsp;He looked at the TV again as Tracy was standing beside her pokemon and being handed a trophy. \u0026nbsp;Aaron rubbed his chin, trying to figure out why Spirit was acting like this. \u0026nbsp;With a sigh, he grabbed Spirit's ball.  \n  \n_\"_Spirit, return.\"  \n  \nHe heard a snarl come from Spirit's muzzle before the red light sucked him in. \u0026nbsp;He took one last look at the TV, seeing Tracy wave to the crowd before he turned it off and headed down to meet his mom.\n\n_\"__Has he moved from the corner yet?\"\u0026nbsp;_Zero asked.  \n  \n_\"__No. \u0026nbsp;He's been there all last night and today,\"\u0026nbsp;_Rose said.  \n  \n_\"__Who was that pokemon he wanted to see anyway?\"\u0026nbsp;_Blade asked.  \n  \n_\"__Someone very dear to his heart.\"_  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\nAaron came into his room and sat on the bed, his gaze shifting towards Spirit. \u0026nbsp;He still didn't know why he acted so bizarre at the hotel.  \n  \n_\"_Spirit, are you feeling any better?\"  \n  \nSpirit didn't answer him as Aaron sighed. \u0026nbsp;What was going on? \u0026nbsp;He thought he built a good relationship with Spirit. \u0026nbsp;Then he got an idea.  \n  \n_\"_Hey, I have an idea that might cheer you up. \u0026nbsp;I'm going to take Tracy to the field where I found you. \u0026nbsp;Maybe seeing your friends and family might cheer you up some?\"  \n  \nSpirit's ears perked up at this before turning to look at him. \u0026nbsp;Seeing his mother and father would cheer him up a little bit. \u0026nbsp;Getting up, he padded over and rested his head on Aaron's lap, letting out a soft whine feeling his ears get scratched.  \n  \n_\"_I think you deserve it, after all, you did win the tournament for me.\"  \n  \n_\"_Aaron, Tracy is here. \u0026nbsp;Make sure that you call me if you're going to spend the night outside.\"  \n  \n_\"_Okay mom. \u0026nbsp;Okay fellas, let's go,\" Aaron said, returning everybody into their balls.  \n  \nWalking downstairs, he saw Tracy standing in the doorway with Halo and Luna.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**  \n  \n\n_\"_You ready to go?\" he asked.  \n  \n_\"_All set here,\" Tracy replied.  \n  \nThen let's go. See you later mom.\"  \n  \n_\"_Have fun you two.\"\n\nTracy and Aaron walked the trail, idle chatter between them as Luna ran ahead. \u0026nbsp;She was happy to be back, but sad that she couldn't find Lyon.  \n  \n_\"_That was some great dancing Halo and Luna did,\" Aaron said.  \n  \n_\"_I know, wasn't it? \u0026nbsp;It was all thanks to their hard work that we were able to finally shut up Jenkins.\"  \n  \n_\"_I was able to finally beat Anthony thanks to Spirit,\" Aaron said with a smile. \u0026nbsp;\"But for some reason, he started acting strange after the fight.\"  \n  \n\"Do you know why?\"  \n  \n_\"_No clue. \u0026nbsp;So I figured to cheer him up, I'd bring him back to where I caught him so he could see his family and friends.\"  \n  \n_\"_That's kind of you.\"  \n  \nThey made it to the small camp that Tracy made before as they sat down on a couple of logs, happy to get off their feet for a bit. \u0026nbsp;The cool breeze rustled the leaves on the ground and in the trees making the branches sway lightly. \u0026nbsp;Luna came bounding back, nuzzling Tracy's leg before letting out a small murr as Tracy ran her fingers through her soft fur.  \n  \n\n**\u0026nbsp;**
