# As I Watch

This is just a poem that I wrote out of boredom. It's one of those submissions that I kinda just wrote it and I'm submitting it. I didn't read over it to check for grammar or to make sure everything was the way I want it. If I would take the time to do this, then I wouldn't be sitting here uploading it right now because I'd be changing almost everything.

As I watch the rain slowly fall from the sky

All is silent as I gradually begin to cry

I don't understand what went wrong

You tell me that I can't stay for long.

 

How did it come to this

Is it from ignorance and bliss

Anger forcing my hand into a fist 

The final action before I watch myself being lowered into a cist.

 

Is this retribution from my past

Or is this some curse that has forever to last

All of the venomous words I said

Will forever be replayed in my head.
