I hope you like it, Josh c:","content":"An end\n\nHas come  \nTo his life  \n  \nA tale:   \nA comedy  \nTold   \n  \nIn the deep hues\n\nOf tragedy:   \nA purity   \n  \nBeyond\n\nThe grasp   \nOf their mortal minds  \n  \nBlood:  \nCrimson  \nSilk  \n  \nDrops  \nOf sorrow  \nTo my hands  \n  \nUndeserving\n\nWas he\n\nOf this end\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nBetrayed  \nBy the one  \nHe loved so dearly  \n  \nA tender embrace  \nHis final gesture  \nBefore   \n  \nA swift end  \nFound him;  \nBitter  \n  \nI cradle him  \nLife   \nBarely clinging  \n  \nTo him   \nMy Love;  \nI\n\nHis Lover\n\nOne who he   \nNever loved in return  \n  \nThough   \nIt burned,   \nLike icy embers,  \n  \nI held no grudge  \nFor he   \nI loved  \n  \nWith every fiber  \nOf my being  \nAnd all   \n  \nOf what   \nI ever did  \nI did for him  \n  \nThough now  \nHe is gone;  \nA vagabond  \n  \nAmongst the stars;  \nSparkling  \nLike his eyes  \n  \nFull of joy  \nAnd remorse;  \nA tell-tale gem  \n  \nSoftly,  \nI plant a kiss\n\nOn his still warm forehead  \n  \nMy hand  \nGently caresses  \nHis tender cheek\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Rest, now.\"  \nI whisper,  \nHanging my head  \n  \nShapeless emotion  \nWells up   \nWithin me  \n  \nAs tears  \nBead  \nIn my eyes  \n  \n\"May peace  \nFind you\n\nMy Love.\"  \n  \nI sigh,  \nShuddering  \nAt the realization  \n  \nOf our mortality;  \nSo delicate   \nThis life is   \n  \nAnd now  \nI must live my own  \nWithout   \n  \nHe  \nWho   \nMade this life  \n  \nSomething   \nWorth living;  \nA heavy price\n\nA tragedy   \nOf the night's true hues;  \nMidnight's Rose\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/462841-bitter.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/468027-needles.json"}}
