He is a great musician and a friendly wolf all around.","content":"The Wolf of the Night\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nBy\n\nFoxpiper\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOh, wolf of the night, what darkness you bring,  \nYour howling announces the setting sun;  \nOver sacred forests where your brethren sing,  \nTo the rising moon, a wondrous one.\n\nAs a child of Fenrir, I see in your eyes,  \nThe suffering caused by this modern world;  \nLonging to live free under arcane skies,  \nYet into steel and smoke you are hurled.\u0026nbsp;\n\nOh, wolf of the night, please lend me your paw,  \nAs I wander through the gnarled forest path;  \nFor these woodlands are ruled by ancient law,  \nAnd forever protected by Odin's wrath.\n\nYou call yourself Judas and I call you friend,  \nA shared meeting between a wolf and a man;  \nModernity's woes made your species contend,  \nTo rightfully claim their ancestral land.\n\nOh, wolf of the night, tell me what you find,  \nBeneath the branches of each stately oak;  \nTeach me the tales of your mysterious kind,  \nPast down from Managarm to all lupine folk.\n\nThe changing of seasons bring forth a new year,  \nTo which will be heralded with the wolves' call;  \nAnd yet all shall bow and shed a lone tear,  \nAs they watch sadly the ancient runes fall.\n\nOh, wolf of the night, I must bid thee farewell,  \nFor it is time I leave your hallowed ground;  \nBut know that one day, my spirit shall dwell,  \nWithin these sacred woods and all around.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
