There is something I must ask

Will you be my healer?

Will you be the one to mend this broken heart?

To stay with me?

To love me?

Will you be my healer?

 

Or will you be my destroyer?

Will you crush this still broken heart?

Beat it down? Set it afire?

Throw me away?

Will you be my destroyer?

 

Why do I ask?

It is what I ask to all who I love

Who I wish to be with

So will you be my healer?

Or will you be my destroyer?

 

Everyone else was a destroyer

Will you be different?
