#3 of Poetry

My observations on life. Take from it what you will.

**Cards**

** **

The cards are dealt,

The impact is felt,

Two hands we see,

How will these lives be?

To one goes a loving home,

Another is left to roam.

To one happiness and kindness felt,

The other only hardships and welts,

The bets go around

Until a victor is found,

Let the next hand begin,

And we shall see who wins,

One is the master of the school,

The other is only the fool,

One flies through the classroom with ease,

The other feels stress and pain without a breeze,

The bets go around

Until a victor is found,

Let the next hand begin,

And we shall see who wins,

To one goes a loving wife,

To the other a cheater and strife,

One goes to elope in a foreign land,

The other with no hope of being a husband,

The bets go around

Until a victor is found,

Let the next hand begin,

And we shall see who wins,

One life spent in pleasure and happiness,

The other spent in pain and loneliness,

Yet one thing remains as all of this fades,

Everyone awaits the Ace of Spades.
