# The war inside me

The war within me continues to violently wage

and the mask I hide my face under is starting to break

I guess myself and I are on a completely different page

this is far more then I can possibly take.

 

The pain inside me is slowly tearing me apart

and I can't escape the demons constantly whispering in my head

In the end, I know from this world I will depart

Until then, I will always be haunted by the words left unsaid.

 

The war within me seems that it will never end

and the mask I hid my face under has shattered

It's gotten to the point that even I know that I can't pretend

this war isn't going to leave me broken and battered.
