Please comment, fave, and like!","content":"_Bleck_\n\nWhen I can barely breathe  \nOut of my nose, it's so clogged  \nUp with mucus and snot  \nThat drips down endlessly  \nNo matter how many times I blow it\n\nWhen I can't barely speak  \nBecause my throat is so red and raw  \nThat swallowing is so painful  \nThat's only aggravated by the racking coughs  \nThat swell and release from my lungs\n\nWhen I can barely move  \nBecause every single muscle in my body aches  \nAnd whines  \nAnd it feels like I was hit by a truck  \nAt least seven times\n\nWhen I can barely hear  \nBecause it feels like someone shoved a metal rod  \nFifty times in my ear  \nAnd the pain is making my head hurt\n\nWhen I can barely think  \nBecause there's a unwelcome rave inside my head  \nWith the base way too high  \nAnd the dancers are making my head spin  \nSuch dizzy spells\n\nWhen I can't lie still  \nBecause I feel like I'm in the Sahara desert one minute  \nAnd in the Arctic wasteland the next\n\nI remember that of all the barriers that I've broken  \nOf all the barriers anyone has broken  \nThat I have at least tried to break this one  \nAnd if I do fail, and die of this disease  \nWell then, at least I tried.\n\n~bhscorch\n\n[![Creative Commons License](http://i.creativecommons.org/l/by-nd/3.0/88x31.png)](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/)\n\n\"Bleck\"\u0026nbsp;by bhscorch is licensed under a\u0026nbsp;[Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/).\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/488880-poem-81-lights.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/504744-poem-83-what-if.json"}}
