I hope you enjoy this wonderful little world I've made and the stories that take place in it!\n-Kire-Kitsune","content":"_ **RACES OF GRIMMWOOD** _  \n  \n**HUMAN RACES**  \n  \n**Sapien:** Principle race of Grimmwood.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Mortal Anima:** Sapiens capable of shapeshifting into Wild Gods.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Lychanthrope:** Sapiens afflicted with Lychanthropy; become varying forms of anthropomorphic wolves by phases of the moon.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Verezial:** Sapiens afflicted by the \"Crimson Heart\" disease. They become Verezial, or in slang, Vampiric.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Black Ones:** Sapiens touched by the Black Hand, gifted with innate dark magics.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Deep:** The resident Sapienes of Drowner's Deep, they live beneath the lake.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Spire Dwellers:** The mountain-dwelling Sapiens living in the Spire Range.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Beo:** The native race of Sapiens from Grimmwood, They live primarily within the Beo Woods.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Shade:** A nomadic tribe of assassins that hail from the southern country of Fallshade.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**FAE RACES**\n\n**Faerie:** The progenitor race of Fae, or Magic Folk. It is said that they are born of trees and possess magics unknown to even God Races.\n\n**Pixie:** A small and tricky race, pixies provide misdirection to the unworthy and aid to the worthy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Gnome:** A race of two sides; one that protects farmer's crops, and another that ruins them.\n\n**Troll:** Large tusked fae that live under bridges and beside rivers.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Goblin:** Slender lizard-esque race. Usually bandits and mercenaries.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Dwarf:** A mountain dwelling race known for their smithing and craftsmanship.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Elf:** A noble race that travels from place to place.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; **Nymph:** Nature spirits known for their seduction.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Muse:** Spirits of great inspiration.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Spirit Anima:** Fae that can shapeshift into Wild Gods.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Giant:** Incredibly large race closely related to Sapiens.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Faun:** A race of nature protectors and Nymph-enthusiasts.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**WILD GOD RACES**\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Wolf:** Defend the boundaries of the Beo Woods, also the peace keepers.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Fox:** Mislead travelers of the Beo Woods in hopes of either proving or disproving their worthiness to travel their hallowed wood.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Deer:** The rulers and keepers of the Beo Woods.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Boar:** The protectorate of the rulers of the Beo Woods, the Deer.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Raven:** The scouts and messengers for the Deer.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Mouse:** The spies of the Beo Woods.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Rabbit:** The inter-woods messengers.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Dog:** Keepers of the Sapiens.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Cat:** Advisers to the Deer.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**True Anima:** Wild Gods capable of shapeshifting into Sapien form.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**GREATER GOD RACES**\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Dragon:** Lords of the sky and patrons to Grimmwood.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Wyrm:** Lords of the land and patrons to Fallshade and Risedeep.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Serpentine:** Lords of the sea and patrons to Riverflow.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Ascended Anima:** The Anima that have risen to Full Godhood, Lords and patrons to whatever theysee fit.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**DARKENING RACES**\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Empty Ones:** The dead roused from their slumber by dark magics.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Wraith:** The shadows of lost souls.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Gorgon:** The souls of scorned women turned physical.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Thorned Hallow:** The undead followers of the Thorned Crown..\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Faded Ones:** Souls that have refused death.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Lessened Fate Anima:** Anima that have been punished to eternal servitude of the Thorned Crown.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Draugr:** Spirits of war and death; hatred turned physical.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Drowned:** Vengeful souls of the Deep that were slaughtered by the Thorned Crown in the Crossed Wars.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Kraken:** One of three ancient beasts, the Kraken has lain dormant in the Crescent bay.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Hydra:** One of three ancient beasts, the Hydra now circles the Crescent Bay in protection of the Thorned Crown's fortress and tomb.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**Sirens:** One of three ancient beasts, the Sirens sing sailors into the rocks of the Crescent Bay.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
