{"sf1_id":527415,"sf2_id":null,"title":"Solitude","author":"Star the Mutt","words":226,"posted_at":"2013-04-16T21:46:00.000Z","tags":["Dark","alone","poem"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/527415-solitude","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/view/527415","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=527415\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"Wrote this on one of my off days, thought you might want to see what goes through my mind when I'm bummed out ^~^","content":"I awake in a lush field, the smell of grass invading my nose.\nFloresent flowers and beautiful trees surrounding me.\nThe radiant sunlight bathing me in its warmth.\nSuch beauty of which is seldom seen. \n \nI arise from the comfortable grass, bask in all of its greatness.\nThe wildlife chirping as I make my way toward a nearby stream.\nWater as clear as the cloudless sky above.\nAnd thats when I saw her.\n \nAcross the quaint stream she stood in a plain white dress.\nLong blond hair cascading from her head covering bright emrald eyes.\nThe smell of honey eminating from her perfect figure.\nShe reached out her paw.\n \nI reached out as well, wanting to feel her fur against mine.\nOur claws touch, and her eyes went blank.\nThe angel of my dreams crumpled to ash staining the stream jet black.\nAs the sky turned as red as velvet wine.\n \nThe once lusious trees now ravaged in fire.\nThe once luxurious grass now shrouded in darkness.\nThe once fragrant flowers now wilted and cold.\nAnd I remained, staring at the chaos that has erupted.\n \nI had a melancholy expression upon my face.\nThis was a common routine to me now.\nFor this is how it has been, and will be, forever.\nAlone, in the dark, abandoned, deserted, eternity in solitude. "}
