This one is a bit of a fanfic for the game Warframe. If you haven't already tried it, highly suggest you do so. The creators of the game left the universe open with very little structure to the story, so it's open and ready for people to contribute anything and everything, so here's my take on it. I had a lot of fun writing this, and I almost want to turn this into a series, if I get the time.\n\nWritten in about 1 hour with one editing pass.\u0026nbsp;\n\n_\\*\\*\\*\\*\\*_\n\n_WARNING!!! BEGINNING EMERGENCY THAW!!!_\n\nThe wheels clacked as the the two scientists pulled the cart along. Both wore the reddish orange suits of the Corpus science caste, their box-like helmets removed. One consulted a data pad and read directly from it.\n\n\"Completely intact! I can't believe they found it like this!\"\n\nThe other scientist returned a smile just as enthusiastic. \"Incredible, isn't it? And just imagine the knowledge we can gain after we dismantle the Warframe inside!\"\n\n_Occupant vital signs monitor established  \nHeart rate: 37 BPM, rising steady  \nBlood pressure: 101 Systolic, 73 Diastolic, rising steady  \nBlood oxygenation levels nominal  \nPhase one thaw complete  \nBEGIN PHASE TWO_\n\nThe doors on the elevator hummed as they closed, the lift whirring to life. One scientist looked over the shoulder of the other at the data pad.\n\n\"Orokin security encryption is certainly impressive. We may need to force the pod open mechanically.\"\n\n\"Shame.\" He looked back at the pod regretfully. \"It would have been quite the accomplishment if we could have opened it the easy way.\"\n\n_Subsystem BIOS load complete  \nMemory check......... complete  \n8099320 / 10205376 Blocks intact  \n998 / 10205376 Empty  \n2105058 / 10205376 Corrupt  \nIsolating corrupt blocks...  \n...  \n...  \n...  \nComplete.  \nContinuing thaw cycle..._\n\n\"I'm envious.\" one scientist said as they passed him in the hallway. \"I would have loved to have the first crack at getting this thing open.\"\n\n\"You're welcome to watch.\" He jestured to a secure room, pushing the cryopod inside. \"We'll be doing the preliminary examination of the exterior right away.\"\n\n_Thaw complete. An urgency deeply ingrained in habit made her cut through the disorientation of the sudden rousing. Her skin was unusually cold, as if a layer of frost had just been wiped away. Stale air swirled around her face as she took shaky breaths, still unsure of what was going on.Though her eyes were open, the world before her was black, save for several lines of text, scrolling before her eyes.\n\n_Continue system checks  \nWeapon management: Weapons not present; Check cryopod storage case  \nEmergency medical package: Nominal. Dispensing one adrenaline dose_\n\nShe yelped as she felt an icy pinch on her back as her warframe's medical package inserted a needle into her skin to administer the dose. The drug's effect was immediate, her mind instantly beginning to become more coherent.\n\n_Acoustic projection systems: Nominal  \nAcoustic dampening systems: Nominal_\n\nThe disorientation gone, it was quickly replaced by alarm as she still was blind to the outside world. She could hear muffled talking outside, almost inaudible to her. Grunting, she forced the joints on her warframe to move, cracking the ice caked onto them. Suddenly, the world went completely black again, before a new string of text apeared.\n\n_Combat system check complete  \nFinalizing startup  \nUltrasonic imaging/combat Warframe \"Banshee\" systems ready  \nReleasing cryopod seals...  \n...  \n...  \n...  \n...  \nRequest timeout. She took only a moment to figure out ice had frozen over her viewplate. Attempting to bring her hands up to break it up only showed her that there was no room to move at all in the pod. Taking another shaky breath, she decided it was time to escalate her actions.\n\n\"Activate utrasonics array.\"\n\n_Ultrasonics array ready_\n\n\"Maximum external discharge, sound quake.\"\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
