# Angels and Demons

A quick poem on the nature of deception.

First of all, this isn't nesicarily a story but this was the catagory it fit best in. Second, this was written some time ago and may or may not still reflect my views theology wise.

At first I thought them angels flying from on high,

Holy winged avengers here to answer vengeance cry,

They swooped down to the Earth with nere a sound,

Brightness blinding and golden bodies all around,

I looked upon them sagely while agony still flowed,

Suffering all surrounding that viciousness had sowed,

In a flash they were upon me with chortles to abound,

Slashing and thrusting knives driving me into ground,

Harkin and remember all a quick word to the wise,

Please friends remember that demons always lie.
