#1 of A Tale of Two Tails

I've written things before but this is my first Furry story so please any criticisms would really be appreciated :3

 

(Intro)

_"I'm gay."_ I thought to myself with a sudden realisation. _"I'm gay and I have a crush on my best friend."_ With that second thought I sigh and place my face into my paws and start to shake my head.

"What's wrong buddy?" I look up to see my best friend sitting next to me, with his headphones around his neck and a concerned look stretched across his beautiful teenaged face, his crystal blue eyes seeming to stare into my very soul, searching for the answer. I force a smile on my face and reply,

"Oh nothing..." _I can't tell him. There's no way he feels the same. He'll just laugh and call me a sad little faggot._ He stood up, leaving his magazine and phone on the chair behind him to come and sit next to me placing a paw on my knee and sending jolts of electricity up my leg and into my groin, causing my heart to flutter. _It'll kill me if I don't say something..._ I place my paw on top of his and take a breath ready to spill my emotions; _how will he react? Will he hate me? Will he laugh and act like I'm just joking? Will he tell everyone?_ As my adrenaline ran high I thought back to how all of this came about, from the moment we met until here, now, when I finally recognised my feelings. I remember that day so clear, it was a new term and I was starting at a new school...

 

 

 

So yes this will be one of those 'flashback stories' and I still haven't decided on what's going to happen in the present day yet so it'll be a surprise for everyone!
