Macabre. Mew.","content":"I was waiting after a test today with nothing to do,\u0026nbsp; so I wrote a random 5 minute poem... read it with a sort of drumming rythm... Just thought I'd share since I can't remember the last time I wrote something x3.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"The Song of the Dead\"\n\nThe sands are falling one by one,  \nCan you feel them in your head?  \nCloser and closer the time draws near,  \nCan you hear the song of the dead?\n\nA plague is due, they said;  \nCan you hear the song of the dead?  \nThe sand drips faster and thicker than blood,  \nDon't dwell on it -- rest your head.  \n  \nThey eat time for breakfast,  \nRest your head they said.  \nThey'll snatch you up in your sleep,  \nCan you hear the song of the dead?  \n  \nGaping jowls of time,  \nFears that julian and shred,  \nMy soul may have left long ago, but  \nCan you hear the song of the dead?\n\nThere's too many of us, they said.  \nThe hourglass is empty, they said.  \nAll in which you know and love,  \nIs now the song of the dead.  \n  \n-Luna\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"etc.","previous":"https://sofurry.com/s/yndzJV2e"}}
