I was putting it off but eventualy sat down and forced it out...\n\nAllright... You can read the actual story now instead of my drivel.\n\n~~\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe newly transformed Alicorn sisters paused to look back at the crater of what used to be the Crystal Kingdom, the jagged earth hole slowly being covered in the forming blizzard. Dark looming clouds had formed and the weather was rapidly picking up. There was nothing left that they could do, even the Doctor would not risk crossing his own time line due to the fracture the rift had caused. What had happened was now locked; nothing could be done about it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThere was still the mission, and there was little time before the deadline the Doctor had given Discord.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey were still lacking the complete set of Elements but it was possible that there currently were no bearers worthy of them. The group would just have to use the tools at hand; it was time to find Twyll.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n~~\n\nArdith sighed. Rounding up all the changelings in the Everfree and starting the journey across the great wastes had been exhausting, and the Doctor never had returned for her. _Her journey had begun under the name Twyll, but just as she had turned from her old ways she had_ _discarded_ _her old name_. She was a new person; She was _Ardith_.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nA murmur ran through the hive link, one that shocked her into full awareness. It was just a faint noise, just a mechanical whir heard by a few of the hive, but she remembered it. The Doctor had returned!\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n~~\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe Doctor opened the door of the Tardis and stepped out into the arid and cracked dirt, squinting in the light of the nearly setting sun. Ardith approached at a galloping pace, taking the Doctor in a hug.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I am glad you returned safely. What took so long?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I wouldn't say all of us got out without some form of damage... and what do you mean so long?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You have been gone a whole week, I thought you gave Discord a deadline?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oops... I showed up on the wrong day...\" The Doctor muttered to himself before continuing aloud, \"That's the thing about time travel... Tricky business. We already have faced Discord in this timeline; we, personally, just haven't done so yet.\"\n\nThe Doctor opened his mind to the hive link, sharing the knowledge of what had occurred at the Crystal Kingdom. The silent communication going unnoticed by the sisters.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I... I see. Let us take the rest of this day to relax in safe company. One more matter... When I changed my ways my old name, meaning Deceit, seemed unfitting. So I changed it to one of blessing, one of hope, Ardith.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nCelestia now slightly taller than Ardith approached. \"Thank you for your hospitality Ardith. The elements have chosen you, and I accept their judgment. Maybe our people can someday live in harmony.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nArdith eyed Celestia and Luna's new appearances. \"I see you have taken your true forms children of the sun and moon, have you had any luck finding the last of the elemental bearers?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Nothing new, but I have my suspicion is that one is close at hand.\" Celestia replied giving a quick glance over to the Doctor.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Maybe they just need to realize it for themselves.\" Ardith smiled as the Doctor stood there, not knowing the conversation had become about him.\n\n\"Come then, let us eat and rest before our battle.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n~\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe evening passed on slowly and the girls seemed to lighten up considerably. Celestia and Luna even seemed to make friends with Ardith. The Doctor sat on a nearby rock, watching the horizon absentmindedly as the girls giggled away.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n~\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhen Celestia and Luna had gone off Ardith joined him sitting silently for a time. When she finally broke the silence it was reluctantly, but she had to get it off her chest.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"We face Discord tomorrow... The sisters have their rightful bands of power and seem ready... but I fear I will not have strength for the battle. As promised we have all abstained from the cultivation of love by falsehood or from victims and it has left us without the energy to shift or use magic. For us to survive the few that do find mates have been sharing their power to sustain us. Leading the changelings on this trek has left me little time to search for love and without any power I fear I will be a burden. At this point if I leave the hive I will have energy for only one day without the use of any magic.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I see... Can the power of the Elements sustain you?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Though they have chosen me I seem to be incompatible... I can only think of one solution... A ritual...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What sort of ritual?\" The Doctor asked skeptically\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"One that must be discussed in private, follow me.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n~~~This story has been clean.... But I am going to break that here... If you don't want to read this part skip to the~~~ at the end of the story...\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAnd so he did, finding himself in her private tent.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Doctor, I must be honest with you... but I fear your scorn... I have been in your mind; I have felt your very being. I have heard your anguish and know the loneliness you feel. Doctor, I... I have.\" She paused \"I want so badly to help you. And my emotions for you have changed daily, even in your absence. Dare I say it is love? If you would agree to share but a fraction of the love that beats in your twin hearts... If you would mate with me Doctor... I don't even care for the power, I just want you.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"It has been a very, very long time since someone has professed their feelings towards me... And even longer since someone has tried to approach me in such a way...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"One must find what joys they can, especially when they have seen so much sorrow. Let me help you to forget your woes, if only for a short while... If you wish I can even change my form.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"No.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I... I am sorry Doctor. I didn't mean to...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe interrupted her before she could finish. \"If we are to do this you will be yourself, no mask, no façade.\" The Doctor paused. \"I have held my feelings inside me for so many years to avoid the pain of loss... But what is this life without love?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHer heart leapt for joy and she felt the subtle bond between them increase as their budding love finally came to fruition. She, in the Doctors presence could live. She could live without borrowing false energy and love; she could live without harming anyone else, for truthful love now sustained her.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nArdith closed the remaining distance between them, taking the Doctor in a loving embrace. As it ended Ardith stared deeply into his eyes, his ancient and knowing eyes. She saw past the guarded exterior to his heart, the tiny glint of flame just waiting to be coaxed out. The glance felt like it had lasted mere seconds but when the Doctor finally moved it had been minutes.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe moved forward, nearly touching, inviting her to continue. Ardith took the hint and opened up to the kiss. It ended shortly but Ardith followed it up with another. Soon enough all inhibition had been removed and the two kissed wildly, Ardith slowly led the Doctor backwards until he was over the blanket on the ground that was serving as her travel bed. She broke the kiss and roughly toppled him back onto it. Ardith stood there as he lay upon the blanket, looking up at her with a slightly awkward look on his face.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What's wrong?\" She asked concerned.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I haven't done this as a pony...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nArdith gave a chuckle. \"You silly colt.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What does the ritual require?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Lots and lots of pleasure.\" Ardith joked as she reached her head down to the Doctor's member, giving the rapidly rising appendage a teasing lick. The Doctor took a short gasping breath as her tongue slid over him. She continued to do so, his member rising at the attention. As he grew to full size she pulled back, a hungry look in her eyes as she gazed upon it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe could feel the flow of energy passing to her, but for the first time it felt right. She spread her legs a little wider to invite him to continue. She could feel the Doctor's tongue as it tentatively came out to give short exploratory licks. I guess I should just say more will be coming when I have both the time and inclination to write.
