There was a clinic nearby with docs  \nand nurses who were familiar with treating Fursons. He wanted to meet  \nnew furrs and make friends, and was kinda partial to other Kitties.  \n  \nOne day he was at the clinic and saw some fashion magazine in  \nthe waiting room. He didn't care about women's fashions cause he was a  \nguy, but he was quite interested in the cover model. She was a lovely  \nlight-gray Cat, really sexy-looking with the white tummy and dark gray  \nwrists and ankles. Horace had always liked a well-turned ankle.  \n  \nThe pic had a photographer credit, but not the model's pro  \nname. That isn't fair; if you protect her you should protect the  \nphotog too. And if you name him, you should name her too, or at  \nleast her agent, so others can hire her!  \n  \nShe looked around fifteen years old, but some of that was  \nmakeup and airbrushing. Cat fur tends to frizz under hot studio  \nlights, so either her whole fur had styling gel (yuck, that junk's  \ntough to wash out!) or there was a lot of post-shoot work. Horace  \nwanted to work with her fur himself.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; It didn't take long for Horace to track down the cover photog;  \nand the weasel was bi, which let Horace in his loft. He lived on the  \nmezzanine of his studio and liked black-and-white furry guys. The  \ncontrasting fur photographed nicely in black-and-white, and Horace's  \nhighlights were sexy in color.  \n  \nAnyfur knows Kitties are warm and soft-furred and cuddly.  \nHorace let Andre film him in analog and digital formats; the old  \nstuff lets you do creative effects like off-focus and depth-of-field  \nshowoffs you just can't get with the artificially 'perfect' Digics.  \n  \nAndre and Horace checked out each others' fur and did some  \nstuff that isn't PG13. Email me if you want the details. Andre had a  \nlive-in skunk boyfriend, and Jacques liked the kittyfur too. Horace  \nsoon got their trust, and never betrayed them. He did find out about  \nthe cover model, Gina, since Andre'd found her dark gray, light gray,  \nand white fur quite interesting artistically.  \n  \nOther ways too, and Jacques liked Gina too. The three furrs  \ntalked alot over the weekend; the mag that hired them as photog and  \nmodel (that's how they met) gave Andre her cell, and Horace peeked,  \nsaying let's go out sometime, the four of us. When the others went  \nout on a gig Horace looked up her address from the number.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; He was quite shocked to see she only had a reference for the  \ncell phone bill! It came to a local hospital, and the nurses held  \nmail for Gina. Horace was hooked, the sexykitty lived nearby!  \n  \nI mean, the hospital was; it treated human patients, with  \nBioSyn blood and organs. Gina was a Furson, like Andre, Horace, and  \nJacques; Horace talked with the nurses and found they didn't know  \nwhere Gina lived. She avoided answering their questions about that.  \n  \nHorace knew from Fursonal experience that many standard Humans  \nwere very prejudiced against Fursons; after all, it meant people could  \nlook like beasts! And BSI made Fursons as well as fur slaves, which  \nwere animals that looked like people. So it \\*was\\* a bit confusing for  \na standard Human, who couldn't just scent the difference!  \n  \n\\*  \n  \nAnyway, Horace started looking around for Gina, and when he  \nsaw her thru a crowd of Humans, he wanted to shout a hello until he  \nsaw her ... stealing someone's wallet! OK the guy probably had it  \ncoming, he was looking at her body instead of his pockets. Fursons  \nare better, stronger, faster; and Horace looked around and saw some  \nchoreography: Gina distracted someone, a Cheetah fem skated up and  \ntook the wallet, then handed it to a black Jaguar who simply melted  \ninto the crowd. The sexy Tigress was part of it, she blocked the view  \nas she sauntered by and Gina went off another way. To a Human, she'd  \nlook innocent.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; And the big Leopardess blocked Horace from following Gina; it  \nlooked casual but Horace saw the adult male Lion, Tiger, Cheetah, and  \nanother Jag. If it were really just coincidence, they wouldn't all  \ncome by and go down the same two alleyways.  \n  \nNo. Horace had seen enough military history shows on TV to  \nknow a flanking maneuver when he saw one, and he was seeing one now.  \nIt wasn't just a group of guys on one side of the street, a group of  \nladies on the other.  \n  \nFlanking can be used to get around someone and attack, or  \nto guard a column while seeming casual. Then there's flanking the  \nflankers, or out-flanking an enemy. You could get, er, all flanked  \nup if you weren't careful!  \n  \nHorace flanked, and followed the Tigress from downwind. She  \nwas a natural predator, and she'd beat a kitty in a fight, but the  \nease worked against her; she saw no Humans, and thought nobody was  \nfollowing. Horace caught sight of Gina around a corner, disappearing  \ninto an old building, and hid in the alley to watch.  \n  \nSure enough, the Tigress went in too, and an hour passed by  \nwhile a Cheetah, Jag, and Tiger joined them; Horace didn't see the  \nLion or Leopardess, or the other Jag or Cheetah, so they probably  \nwent in from the other alley. He was a Pussycat, could see in almost  \ntotal darkness, and he easily evaded the crude signals on the floor  \nthat no Human would notice.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; The nine furrs were talking in low voices, but a Furson has  \nbetter hearing than a Human. They were talking about their 'score'  \nand Horace knew he'd stumbled upon a robbery ring. His FBI handler  \nMaurice would want to know; but first he'd get evidence, not just  \nhis word.  \n  \nHorace had broken the law, and been shot and beat up; he'd  \nstop others from that fate. He would have to infiltrate the group,  \nand his best bet would be to befriend the one of his own Furson  \nspecies, the sexy Gina.  \n  \n\\*  \n  \nGina had been a CatGirl a few years now, and grown up a lot  \nas the Pussy Pride's baitfur. Acted like an adult, she was treated  \nthat way by the Pride but still needed to look trustworthy. Even  \npuny Humans could tell she wasn't innocent anymore.  \n  \nBut CatGirls \\*are\\* kinda shy and innocent, and want everything  \nto go smoothly. Instinctively wary of anything new, but not suspicious.  \nHorace hung out at Andre's, and when he called Gina to ask if she would  \ndo another photo shoot, she agreed. She kept her distance from the new  \nfurr, but let Jacques watch her fully dressed; and as she got more  \ncomfortable, she let them all see some arm, some leg, some shoulder.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; She knew Andre the Weasel was bi, and Jacques the Skunk was  \nhis boyfriend. She figured the new Cat, Horace, was at least curious,  \nbecause he looked at Andre flowing around the studio floor taking shot  \nafter shot, keeping Gina moving and her hair flipping in the air. She  \nknew Andre liked the action shots.  \n  \nGina was almost sixteen, and she'd learned from Lion about  \nother action. When she took a break, Horace got her some apple juice.  \nShe liked the slightly tart taste, and she was starting to like Horace.  \nShe watched Andre lying on the floor watching Jacques reload the film  \ncamera.  \n  \nShe rolled her eyes and said, \"Why don't you two get a room!\"  \nJacques thought that was an excellent idea, and skinned out of his  \njeans, just his wide tail curled up hiding him. Andre had seen him  \nmany times just in the fur. The darkroom was on the mezzanine, and  \nthe two furrs went up, \"to see what develops\". Both pairs of jeans  \nwere left on the studio floor.  \n  \nGina and Horace were sorta alone now. Horace was a gentlefurr,  \ngoing to the sofa and plopping down with his own apple juice. Gina sat  \non the chair, er, catty-corner to the TomCat. She'd recovered her  \nbreath from the exercise of the shoot, and Horace had liked watching  \nher deep breathing, but he said nothing; just looked around the place  \nto the left, then past Gina, then right, then back to look at her.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Gina hadn't bothered to put her dress back on, and Horace  \nfigured she was used to being in the fur with Andre. He liked her  \nease with the fur; he was still a bit shy with the ladies. She  \nwas still dressed decently, though not completely modestly.  \n  \nLadies, you may not know this, but it's really tough being  \na guy sometimes. If you complement a lady's physical appearance, you  \nrisk being accused of being a pervert; if you pretend not to notice,  \nyou risk insulting her efforts. \\*We can NOT read your minds\\*, and  \nwe're not wired to pick up clues; you've taken decades of social-  \nisation to get that good at it!  \n  \nGive us a frakkin break, tell us in words how you feel; if it  \ntook you a while, let us learn when you want compliments and when to  \nleave you alone! Expecting the otherfur to know what you know, like  \nwhat you like, and react the same way you do is just plain wrong.  \nYou'll make incorrect judgments, and send mixed signals to anyfur  \nelse just trying to keep up with you!  \n  \nOK, guys do the same thing, and it drives the ladies nuts.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; \\*  \n  \nAs a result of being alone together in Andre Weasel's loft  \nfor a few hours, Gina relaxed a bit with Horace and they got to know  \neach other a bit. Gina said she had other friends, and Horace kept it  \nto himself he'd seen her planning crimes with these friends. He did  \nask if he should be jealous, only he said it jokingly; he'd relaxed  \nwith her but wasn't sure how she'd take the question.  \n  \nGina giggled and said no, there was a Lion she liked, and  \nHorace was still joking as he said he couldn't compete. Both furrs  \nknew that was true, strictly speaking; no Kitty beats up a Lion. But  \nGina didn't get all serious, and Horace followed her lead. The Lion  \nhad a girlfriend, and Horace asked quietly if Gina wanted a boyfriend.  \n  \nShe said \"yeah, OK\" and Horace swallowed dramatically as if  \nit was a big deal. He said he liked her and could they go out together  \nsometime? Gina knew it was a risk to a guy's ego to ask a gal out, so  \nshe considered it seriously. She said ... yes.  \n  \nHorace's delighted whoop would have hurt her ears, but the  \nloft was big enough to take the sound. Two furry heads appeared over  \nthe mezzanine railing; the TomCat had disturbed the otherfurrs', er,  \nactivity. Neither Cat saw the bondage toys on the skunkboy.  \n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"CatGirl","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/539243-andre.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/553541-horace-and-andre.json"}}
