One can break  
His heart to pieces  
And load the canon  
Piece by piece

Each piece fired  
To the one  
He loves

All in hope  
That his heart  
Will be restored

But if the other  
Fails to understand  
Fails to return that heart  
Then all that's left  
Is a broken man  
And with a broken heart  
Comes death
