The rain clattering\ndown on the tiles of the roof and the windows sounded like a heavenly\npercussive orchestra and the sunset imbued them with a dancing golden glow. The\ntrees quivered in the gentle twilight zephyr and drank from the torrential\noffering of twinkling raindrops. The forest was a beauty to behold on such a\nglorious evening, but Allison and Benedict's attentions were firmly focussed on\nthe selection of DVDs and Blu-rays laid out on the coffee table before them.\n \"Hmm...this one!\" Benny said,\npicking out The Princess Bride.\n Allison smirked. \"As you wish.\"\n Benedict looked bemused. \"I have claws\nand I'm not afraid to use them.\"\n Allison refrained from quoting the film\nthroughout its duration, but still could not help challenging Benny to an\nimpromptu swordfight with some wooden swords afterwards. Allison's raccoon feet\ncarried him swiftly and gracefully across the floor, but Benny's Bonetti Defence\ncast off his attacks. Allison lunged in with a Capo Ferro, but Benny countered\nwith a Thibault and swept Allison's legs out from under him, standing on top of\nthe raccoon to win the duel.\n \"Okay, okay! You win!\" With their\nenergy now expended, the fennec and the raccoon sat together in front of the\nroaring fire and debated what film to end their evening with. The pale blue\nradiance of night shone in through the windows and seemed to have its own duel\nwith the warm firelight spreading through the room. Allison stared outside at\nthe forest canopy above them and pondered for a moment.\n \"Aha!\" he cried. \"I know the\nperfect film!\" He pounced on his pile of DVDs and popped up some time\nlater with his choice: The Evil Dead.\n \"Coon...you want to watch a film about\ndemons attacking a cabin in the woods...while sitting in a cabin in the\nwoods?\"\n \"Oi! This is much more than a cabin!\nBesides, the assembled hordes of Genghis Khan couldn't get through those\ndoors!\"\n Benny was sceptical, but soon settled in as\nthe film progressed. Allison on the other hand was cowering behind a throw\ncushion and only looking out when Benny told him it was safe. After an hour\nmore of gore and shocks, the film came to close...and the power cut out.\nAllison's den was plunged into thick darkness and a sense of dread fell over\nthe two. Benny squeaked and cowered into Allison's arms.\n \"Coon...you don't happen to have the Necronomicon\nEx-Mortis down there in your vault, do you?\"\n Allison whimpered. \"I-I don't know...you\nthink there could really be d-demons out here?\"\n Benny's reply was cut short by a flash of\nlightning and a booming crash of thunder from outside.\n \"All is well,\" Allison said softly,\nrising to his feet with the fox still clung to his side. \"The storm's just\ncut the power! I can just turn that back on, and then-\"\nDING DONG.\n Benny screeched and pulled Allison back as he\nheaded to the door. \"Oh, there's the door bell!\"\n \"Coon, no! It's the demons!\"\n \"Why would demons use the doorbell?\"\n \"They're lulling you into a false sense\nof security!\"\n Allison took a deep breath and pulled the\ndoors open. Another flash of lightning illuminated the silhouette of a tall and\nwide fox, towering over the raccoon and fennec. His fists were clenched and the\ndisquieting smell of wet fur drifted from him, soaked from the storm. The\ndripping water gave his brown fur an eerie shimmer.\n Allison gulped. \"H-hello?\"\n The fox shook gently on the porch and wrung\nout his tail. \"Tenacious, by name...and by nature.\" The starlight\ntwinkled from his pearly fangs as his mouth split into an sinister grin.\nWithout invitation he pushed past Allison and stepped into the foyer, looking\naround at the kitchen and back across to the living area, seemingly drawn to\nthe warmth of the fire but still standing unnervingly.\n \"I'm sorry, can I help you?\" Allison\nenquired. \"It's late, I was just about to take my friend back to town\nand-\"\n \"I was just in the area when I suddenly\ngrew hungry.\" As if on cue, Tenacious' stomach let out a howling growl\nthat almost confirmed the raccoon's fears that demons had arrived. \"I came\nthis way when I thought I smelled...food.\"\n There was a look of mischief on his face.\nBenny hid behind Allison and peered out at the big intruder. It seemed as\nthough he was referring to the empty pizza boxes when he mentioned food, but\nthe fox's eyes were firmly focussed on Benny when he spoke. Allison seemed to\ncatch on to his intentions and held the door open. \"I'm sorry, Tenacious.\nI can't help you.\"\n Tenacious growled softly and stepped towards\nthe two. \"Oh no, you don't understand! I'm not leaving until I've had\nsomething to eat!\"\n \"I can see where your name comes\nfrom,\" Allison said, suddenly ducking around the strange guest and darting\noff down the hall. His attempt to escape was futile as the fox dived after the\nraccoon, his muscular arm catching Allison by the ankle and easily lifting him\noff the ground. The captured raccoon looked up to see Tenacious' other arm was\nalready funnelling Benny into his gaping mouth. With his head tipped back, his\nprogress eating the tiny fennec was fast. The fox's long tongue was extended\nand was tasting Benny as his hand pushed him down. Benny quivered and squirmed,\nhis legs suddenly surrounding by the warm, wet walls of the predator's throat.\nAllison could see Tenacious' throat distend as Benny was sucked in up to his\nhips, his tail already somewhere deep down inside. Benny's kicking feet made\nbulges in the skin of Tenacious' neck, but the feeling only seemed to make him\nenjoy it more as he let out a series of approving growls. Giving one last push\non Benny's head, Tenacious was able to fit the whole fennec into his mouth and\nclose his mighty jaws around him. Allison saw the fox take a huge gulp, the\nbulge of the fennec travelling down his body and plopping into the stomach with\na wobble. Sighing happily and rubbing his distended belly, Tenacious turned his\nattentions to Allison, flipping him over and holding him head first above his\ngaping mouth. The raccoon could only dangle there and stare down into the\ngaping throat of the beast. Sharp, white fangs were set in a bed of pink gums\nand slimy strands of saliva hung down from the roof of his mouth to his long\ntongue. He licked his lips and started to pull Allison inside. Allison threw\nout his paws desperately but they just slipped off the slimy tongue and got\npulled down into the throat. Before he knew what was happening, his head joined\nhis arms in Tenacious' gullet. Being used to being a predator, the whole\nsensation was very unusual for Allison. The first thing that struck him was the\nimmense pressure of the throat around him. The oesophagus squeezed and\ncontracted and pulled him further down, the slimy walls rubbing over him almost\nlike they were tasting him. The outside world was now a memory as Allison's\nsenses were overwhelmed. Every growl sounded like a thunderous roar from inside\nthe tight passageway and Allison relaxed to ease his journey down. Before long\nhe felt his nose pushing through a ring of muscle and soon his head was inside\nthe fox's stomach. There was one more sudden push as the predator swallowed and\nAllison suddenly felt his whole body slipping down into that belly pouch,\nexpanding it even more though still squeezing Benny and Allison tight against\neach other.\n \"So,\" Benny said, looking bemused\nagain. \"Those doors could keep out the assembled hordes of Genghis Khan,\nbut you still let this guy in?\"\n Allison lowered his ears and pulled Benny into\na snuggle. They might as well get comfortable if they were going to be trapped\nin the dark belly. As Allison let his eyes close, he found something strangely\ncomforting about being curled up in the big predator's tummy. There was a\ngentle but distant beating of Tenacious' heart and a cosy warmth radiated from\nall sides. The belly pouch moved and bulged inwards slightly as the host rubbed\nit and the whole thing rocked gently up and down in time with the fox's\nfootsteps. Soon Allison and Benny couldn't help but fall fast asleep in the\ncomforting cocoon of the stomach.\n Tenacious grinned to himself and stepped out\ninto the rain again, holding his bouncy belly as he walked. These two critters\nwere a very nice meal...and probably not for the last time."}
