I envy them  \nthey are not bound to the earth like the rest of us humans are. Excuse me I was  \njust thinking out loud. My name is Eros, I know weird name but I like it. I  \nhave for all my life felt like I was something different then a human.  \nThroughout my life I have felt wings on my back with a wolf's tail extending  \nfrom my tailbone. This has caused me to only have three friends who feel the  \nsame thing I do with the phantom limbs.\n\nMy three friends names were solice, Daniel, and Si-ann. The  \nonly ones we ever had there for us was each other. I never knew my parents. So  \nI was living with Daniel as he was the closest thing to a brother for me. We  \nwould do what any other teenagers would do watch TV, play the xbox, and the  \ncomputer.\n\nOne day while we were all at school our hands started to  \nhurt. When we looked at our hands Solice and I had fur on our hands. Solice had  \nscarlet fur growing while I had black fur growing. Daniel and Si-ann unlike  \nSolice and I, had scales on their hands. Daniel's scales were a copper color.  \nWhile Si-ann's were cyan, ironic right. Well when we noticed this we looked at  \neach other and realized what was going on. We just ran out of the classroom,  \ndespite the teacher's orders, and out of the school into the forest nearby.\n\nThe four of us eventually stopped in a clearing, some ten  \nminutes later. The fur on solice and I's hands had climbed all the way to our  \nchests and was starting to progress to our heads. Daniel and Si-ann's scales  \nhad reached their chests as well as their heads. Daniel's breastplates were a  \nsunset red. \u0026nbsp; Si-ann's breastplates were  \ngolden.\n\nWhen we stopped there was a long silence when I finally  \ndecided to say something.\n\n\"Are you guys thinking the same thing as me?\"\n\n\"Is it that Daniel and I are turning into dragons and you  \nand Solice are turning into gryphons.\" Si-ann said\n\n\"Well if we are truly dragons and gryphons that would  \nexplain the phantom limbs we have felt throughout our lives.\" Daniel said  \nalmost questionably.\n\n\"It would really explain the phantom limbs.\"I said\n\nAs I finished that sentence the transformation sped up  \nexponentially. The fur started to just explode from my body as my feet changed  \nto paws and my hands turned into talons. I soon felt a surge of pain on my face  \nas my teeth fell out one by one. I couldn't believe it when my face started  \npushing out and becoming harder until I had a beak. My wings burst from my back,  \nthey were a dark grey. I fell to the ground in mind-numbing pain. As I laid  \nthere I started to lose consciousness. But before I did I saw the others had  \nfinished their transformations. Solice's wings had just burst from her back.  \nHer wings were a brilliant lime green. Then I backed out.\n\nWhen I came too, I saw I was in a white room with Solice. I  \nlooked around the room to get familiar with my surroundings. The room itself  \nwas pretty bland as it had three white walls and a clear wall looking into  \nanother room. The ceiling was a skylight, I was able to see the night sky and  \nthe moon. I looked into the room beside mine and Solice's. In the room was a  \ncopper and red dragon and a cyan and gold dragoness curled up next to each  \nother. As I was looking at the two, I realized they were Daniel and Si-ann. I  \nwas tired from the transformation, so I laid down next to Solice and closed my  \neyes.
