{"sf1_id":563083,"sf2_id":"keNR4Dxe","title":"Don't Talk to the Devil","author":"justBrett","words":525,"posted_at":"2013-07-14T02:21:00.000Z","tags":["Poem"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/563083-don-t-talk-to-the-devil","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/keNR4Dxe","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/e0/a4/e0a4fc74-84c2-4272-9094-2b20edcd291b","description":"#2 of poem","content":"This dammed city of prey  \nWho's people are just shades of grey   \nSo easy to woe  \nSo easy to sway  \nI won't even need to try something new  \nThey will believe whatever I say   \n  \nHay criminal across the street   \nI can tell you're trying to dodge the heat  \nWhy don't you come over and take a seat  \nYou're actually the guy I'd like to meet   \n  \nA simple problem that I can see  \nYou live a life a crime  \nBut for you I might just have the remedy  \nAnd it won't cost you a dime  \n  \nCan you believe life can be so sublime  \nIts all out of the kindness of my hart  \nWith no resin and no rhyme   \nSo kick up your feet and we can start  \n All I requires is a moment of your time  \n  \nYou see over the years IV acquired set of skills  \nAnd have become quit the word smith   \nYou know I can change harts and bend wills  \nIll have you hooked on the slightest whiff  \n  \nSo just relax and talk to me  \nAnd maybe we can strike a deal  \nI can make anything you wish to be   \nYou can feel anything you wish to feel  \n  \nI can do so many things for you geez where do I start  \nI can make you strong or fast  \nOr I can make you smart  \n  \nSo don't worry my friend you have nothing left to to fear  \nIf you wish you can be an astronaut, the president or even rock stare   \nYour life you don't have pilot nor steer  \nBoy I can take you far  \nIf you'd only keep me near\n\n\u0026nbsp;Your days of hunger can be over  \nYou no longer have to sleep in the mud  \nNever again be sober   \nAll it requires is a little blood  \n  \nAlso I can see you're a little lonely  \nAnd maybe a little stressed  \nIf you sign and we can be homie  \nAnd get this load of your chest  \n  \nSo what if you have to sequent   \nYou don't have to be so shy  \nWho really reads the fine print  \n What resin do I have to lie  \n  \nBwahaha there we go son  \nYou see that's all it took!  \nNow we both get to have some fun  \nBecause the fish bit the hook  \n  \nYou see im your buddy hear can't you see  \nDon't you know  \nJust think of things you can control or be  \nAnd your new horns show  \n  \n  \nThat new look in your in your eyes   \nIt fills me with such a sick glee  \nThe point when judgment fades and innocents dies  \nA fine replacement for a man such as me  \n  \nI guess now I better be taking off  \nI got all from you I need  \nI leave the pig to his new trough  \nBecause even demons need to feed  \n  \nHay look at there  \n A woman across the bay  \nSo small and so pure  \nI wonder what price shed pay  \nA simple smile and a little charm  \nI bet it won't take much for her to losses her way  \nNo different from the rest  \nJust another shade of grey  \nA another little fish  \nIn this dammed city of prey   \n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"poem","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/563081-a-simple-thing-called-love.json"}}
