{"sf1_id":563304,"sf2_id":null,"title":"Going Green, Chapter One: A Teen Titans Fanfic","author":"ThisAdamGuy","words":1304,"posted_at":"2013-07-14T19:40:00.000Z","tags":["Beast Boy","Fanfiction","Terra","Titans","Transformation","furry","teen"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/563304-going-green-chapter-one-a-teen-titans-fanfic","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/view/563304","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=563304\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"","content":"\nChapter One\nThe sunset cast a wide array of beautiful colors across the\nwater that separated Titan Tower from Jump City.  Reclining on the gravelly beach, Beast Boy\nsighed in contentedness as he felt Terra's hand squeeze his.\n\"You guys are so lucky,\" she said dreamily.  \"You get to see this every night!\"\n\"Yeah,\" Beast Boy agreed, deciding not to mention that\neveryone was usually too busy to watch the sunset.  Around this time of evening, he and Cyborg\nwould normally have begun their shouting match about who cheated playing video\ngames.  Robin would either be in his dojo\ntraining, or listening to the police scanner. \nRaven would be locked in her room meditating.  Starfire was probably... well, nobody could\nreally predict what the loony alien would do. \nIt didn't matter, though.  If\nTerra enjoyed watching the sunset, then Beast Boy could go without blowing his\nrobot buddy into virtual rubble for at least one night.\n\"You know,\" he added, \"you'll get to see it every night now\ntoo, since you're one of us.\"  He turned\nand gave her a warm smile.  Terra giggled\nsoftly.  She'd always found the way Beast\nBoy's fang protruded from his mouth funny. \nFunny in a cute way, that is.\n\"I don't know how to thank you guys enough for this!\" she\nsaid.  \"Before now, I've never belonged\nanywhere.  It's weird to finally... you\nknow, have a home.\"\n\"Weird in a good way, right?\" Beast Boy asked, his eyes\ngleaming.\n\"Eh, I'd say about the same type of weird as you,\" Terra\nanswered, winking coyly.\nBeast Boy grinned in pride, but then his face went slack as\nhe tried to figure out if that was a compliment or not...\n\"I think I'm going to like it here,\" Terra said.  She leaned in closer to Beast Boy, and the\ngreen changeling soon found himself with a beautiful girl resting her head on\nhis shoulders. Blushing a darker green\nthan usual, he felt his brain fizzle out, trying to figure out what to do.  Finally, he settled for putting his arm\naround her shoulder.  When she smiled, he\nblew out a sigh of relief, glad he had made the right move.\n\"Beast Boy, do you mind if I ask you something personal?\"\nTerra asked, her voice suddenly hesitant.\n\"Um, sure, I guess,\" Beast Boy answered.\nFor a moment, Terra was silent, and then all at once she\nblurted out, \"Have you ever had a girlfriend?\"\nShocked by her own boldness, Terra sat upright and pulled\naway from Beast Boy, who was equally as shocked.\n\"Um,\" Beast Boy stammered, scratching his head in\nconfusion.  \"No, I haven't.\"\n\"Oh, okay,\" Terra responded, hugging her legs to her chest\nand trying not to face her friend.\n\"Why... do you ask?\" Beast Boy prompted her, though he had a\nfeeling he may already know where she was going with this.\n\"No reason, I was just curious,\" Terra said, looking down at\nthe ground.\nFor a minute, there was no sound except for the gentle\nsplashing of waves on the island's beach below them.  Finally, Beast Boy worked up his courage and\ncleared his throat.\n\"Um, Terra,\" he said, second guessing himself with every\nsyllable.  \"Do you want to... you\nknow...  be my...  um... girlfriend?\"\nBeast Boy desperately wanted to look away, knowing in his\ngut that he'd gone too far, but he forced himself to look at the young woman\nbeside him.  To his surprise, though,\nwhen Terra looked back up at him, she wore a smile on her face.\n\"Do you mean it, Beast Boy?\" she asked.\n\"Do I mean what?\" Beast Boy echoed, his overworked brain\nfailing him once again.\n\"Do you really want me to be your girlfriend?\" she asked.\n\"Um, well... yeah, I do.\"\n\"Well, then,\" Terra said, blushing prettily, \"I guess then\nmy answer would have to be... yes!\"\nBeast Boy sat there, stunned.  Even after all the times he had fantasized\nabout wooing scores of young ladies with his \"natural charm,\" nothing could\nhave prepared him for the real thing.\n\"Well, then,\" he said, stupidly.\n\"Well, then, indeed,\" Terra agreed.\n\"Um... it's getting dark,\" said Beast Boy.  \"Do you want to head back inside the tower?\"\n\"Sure,\" Terra said. \n\"But not before you give your new girlfriend a goodnight kiss!\"\nBeast Boy felt like his eyeballs would pop out of his head\nfrom how wide they opened.  His jaw\ndropped open in surprise.  Realizing how\nstupid he looked, he snapped his eyes shut and pushed his jaw back where it\nshould have been.\n\"Okay,\" he said, trying to sound suave but only managing to\ncome across as incredibly nervous.\nSmiling coyly, Terra began to lean in closer to Beast\nBoy.  Tentatively, Beast Boy did the\nsame.  Before he knew it, their lips were\npressed together in a short, but meaningful, kiss.  Terra quickly whipped her head away from\nBeast Boy's, a happy smile on her face.\n\"Good night, Beast Boy!\" she said, leaping to her feet and running\nto the tower before her new boyfriend could chase after her as the sun dipped\ncompletely below the horizon.\n**The Next Morning**\nTerra yawned as beams of sunlight peeked through her bedroom\nwindow, caressing her eyes and gently awakening her.  Sitting up in bed, she stretched.  It had been a good night's rest- the first\nshe could remember having in years.  Happy\ntears threatened to leak from her eyes as she ran her hand over the first bed\nshe could ever remember being able to call her own.\nBeast Boy!\nSuddenly, the events from the previous night came rushing\nback to her.  She bit her lip in\nexcitement.  Not only did she have a home\nand friends, she had a gosh darn flipping\nBOYFRIEND!!!  Throwing her covers\naside, she sprang from bed and threw some clothes on, eager to see her little\ngreen lover again.\nShe found the rest of the team already in the main room of\nTitan's Tower.  Raven was sitting on the\ncouch, reading a book.  Robin was\ncounting the number of calories he'd have to burn if he ate a bowl of Captain\nCrunch for breakfast.  Starfire was\ndancing around the room with a creepy looking caterpillar thing.  Cyborg and, most importantly, Beast Boy, were\nplaying video games.  It seemed nobody\nhad noticed her yet.  Grinning\nmaliciously, Terra crept up behind Beast Boy and covered his eyes with her\nhands.\n\"Guess who?\" she asked playfully.\n\"I think it's... CONTROL FREAK!\" Beast Boy exclaimed before\nleaping from his seat.  \"Oh, looks like I\nwas wrong!  You're much too pretty to be...\nwhoa, what in the world?!\"  Beast Boy's\neyes went wide, and he took a step backwards.\n\"What is it?\" Cyborg asked, turning to look.  Suddenly, he reared his head back and\nlaughed.  \"Terra, did you get into\nRaven's makeup?  Girl, green is definitely not your color!\"\n\"What are you talking about?\" Terra demanded, equally angry\nand confused.\nStarfire flew up to look and giggled as well, \"Friend Terra,\nyou are as green mouthed as the rundathons of Uumph!\"\n\"What?\" Terra asked again. \n\"I'm not wearing any makeup!\"\n\"Either you're wearing makeup,\" Raven said, looking up from\nher book, \"or you're turning into Beast Boy.\"\nTerra froze.  Turning\nto look, she saw that Beast Boy had frozen as well.\n\"Get me a mirror!\" she ordered, but didn't wait for anyone\nto do so.  She ran from the room,\nfrantically opening doors until she finally found a bathroom.  Slamming the door behind her, she turned on\nthe lights and ran to the mirror.\nSure enough, just as everyone had pointed out, the lower\nhalf of her face, starting at her mouth and spreading outwards from there, was\ngreen.  And not just any green,\neither.  It was the same shade of green\nas Beast Boy's skin!\nTerra screamed in horror!"}
