He does end up with a fur coat in the end . . .","content":"The Hunter's Ninth Tail\n\nThe mighty hunter stalked his prey\n\nThrough boughs of fir and pine.\n\nHe had eight pelts to make his coat\n\nBut in all he needed nine.\n\nA vestment to prove his worth\n\nAnd show the world his skill;\n\nTo verify his excellence\n\nNine foxes would he kill.\n\nHe found the tracks and then his mark\n\nWith fluffy tail held high.\n\nIt's amber eyes looked up at him,\n\nJust daring him to try.\n\nBow drawn taut he took his aim.\n\nThe fox just sat and waited.\n\nIt stared directly at the man\n\nSo unanticipated.\n\nHe took his shot, but coughed and missed,\n\nThe fox just wasn't there!\n\nThe man looked round and all about\n\nAnd scratched his tussled hair.\n\nSuddenly he lurched and hacked,\n\nSomething caught in his throat.\n\nA heavy rounded weight was there,\n\nSinking as he choked.\n\nIt settled in his stomach\n\nWith an oddly solid heat.\n\nHe shook his head dismissively\n\nAnd rose back to his feet.\n\nHis footing was unsteady\n\nAnd his vision blurred;\n\nThe forest swam around him\n\nUntil it was obscured.\n\nThen a noise behind him\n\nDid make him turn about.\n\nWhat he saw surprised him,\n\nBut he stifled in his shout.\n\nA lovely woman walked there\n\nAnd she turned her toothsome head,\n\nShe wore a lovely floral robe,\n\nHer hair a fiery red.\n\n_Excuse me Sir, I have misplaced_\n\n_My very special ball._\n\n_It was given as a gift to me_\n\n_And I'm sure that it did fall_\n\n_Out of my bag near here somewhere,_\n\n_I'm almost certain of it._\n\n_If you could help me find it,_\n\n_My dear sir, I'd love it._\n\nThe man bent down and looked around,\n\nHer request was not refused.\n\nThe woman was so beautiful\n\nThere was nothing else to choose.\n\nBut as he circled carefully\n\nHis head pulled back in fright\n\nAs he looked behind the woman\n\nAnd her tails fell in his sight.\n\nTo numerous to count they shook\n\nAs she walked in with a grin\n\nTo the fallen crawling man,\n\nMuch to his chagrin.\n\nHer eyes were golden: foxy,\n\nand her face was vulpine too.\n\nHe saw her claws and whiskers\n\nAs his fear rose up anew.\n\n_I see that you were hunting_\n\n_And your tails are numbered eight._\n\n_This feat has taken prowess_\n\n_And your skills they must be great._\n\n_Oh, Stop groveling you shame yourself._\n\n_Your actions they degrade you._\n\n_Worry not my darling man,_\n\n_For I'm just here to aid you._\n\n_I know where you can find a tail_\n\n_Or even track down nine._\n\n_I have some years experience_\n\n_As you can tell from mine._\n\nShe turned her hips and the man watched;\n\nHer luscious tails all shook.\n\nHis eyes followed them mesmerized\n\nAway he could not look.\n\n_Now your way of finding tails_\n\n_Is quite **unique** indeed,_\n\n_But I have a different plan_\n\n_That will fulfill your need._\n\nShe drew in tight, close to the man\n\nAnd tussled up his hair.\n\nShe pulled the laces on his shirt\n\nUntil his chest was bare.\n\nHer foxy scent hung in the air.\n\nShe leaned in for a kiss.\n\nStruck dumb, the man just stood there,\n\nHis mind reeling in bliss.\n\nBlack thin lips did touch his own.\n\nWhiskers twitched against his skin.\n\nHer wet pink tongue flicked in and out\n\nAgain and then again.\n\nAs she worked his nose pressed out\n\nAnd turned a leathern black.\n\nAs he smelled her truest scent\n\nHis body all went slack.\n\nThat sultry burning vulpine smell\n\nDid shake him to his core,\n\nBut all that he could bare to think\n\nWas how he wanted more.\n\n_Yes, I think you start to see_\n\n_My darling little man._\n\n_Now you can sense the details_\n\n_Of my clever little plan._\n\n_It's cute the way your hands raise up_\n\n_And press in, disbelieving._\n\n_Your twitching whiskers on your face_\n\n_Your senses aren't deceiving._\n\n_But don't be shy I've seen your lust_\n\n_For lovely foxy fur._\n\n_So just relax and let me help,_\n\nShe rumbled with a purr.\n\nHer golden eyes did wander then\n\nOver his twisting mass.\n\nHis fur was growing fluffy,\n\nAnd his manner much less crass.\n\nWith arms twisting and fidgeting\n\nHe rubbed his itching shirt\n\nUntil he couldn't stand it\n\nand he tossed it to the dirt.\n\n_A luscious pelt as least as nice_\n\n_As any you have skinned._\n\n_Don't worry, just relax now,_\n\n_And give your body in,_\n\n_To sharper senses, sharper teeth_\n\n_And sharper wily mind._\n\n_You can't be dull and brutish_\n\n_If you are one of my kind._\n\nThen she leaned in behind him\n\nAnd stroked across his chest\n\nWhispering sweet nothings\n\nWith her panting sultry breath.\n\n_Just let me knead and then caress_\n\n_Under your silky white._\n\n_Let your skin just tense and writhe_\n\n_And become nice and tight._\n\nOn his chest then lower down\n\nAnd then lower again:\n\nRaising nubs of pleasure\n\nAgainst his supple skin.\n\nIt felt so tight and sensitive\n\nThat he grit his teeth and hissed\n\nClinging to humanity\n\nThough it was hardly missed.\n\n_And now you are so foxy._\n\n_Just look at that nice paw._\n\n_You don't need your hands now_\n\n_To pull your bow to draw._\n\n_Don't whimper now my darling._\n\n_Just feel the warm heat grow;_\n\n_Welling up inside of you,_\n\n_It's wonderful, I know._\n\nHis remaining clothes seemed huge now\n\nAs his form did shrink,\n\nWith twitching pointed foxy ears\n\nAnd panting tongue so pink.\n\n_And what do we have here,_\n\n_At the base of your orange back?_\n\n_It's just what you were looking for,_\n\n_Just feel it twist and crack._\n\n_And there's the luscious fur now_\n\n_Just racing down its length._\n\n_It wags as your legs tighten_\n\n_And form with vulpine strength._\n\nAnd so the man stands panting,\n\nNow on padded paws.\n\nHis fluffy tail wags fitfully\n\nHis tongue licks past his jaws.\n\nAnd now the girl looms over him,\n\nHer graceful form so large.\n\nShe watches him intently,\n\nTaking stock of her new charge.\n\n_There's one last thing,_ Her paw slides down\n\nThe orange fur on his back.\n\n_Something that a vixen has,_\n\n_And something that you lack._\n\nHer fingers slide behind him,\n\nAnd he let's loose a yip.\n\nShe take's his vulpine pride in hand\n\nAnd squeezes with her grip.\n\nHe groans and whines in pleasure\n\nAs her paw rubs in.\n\nHis senses blaze in wonder\n\nAs his world begins to spin.\n\n_I bet my vixen likes that,_\n\n_Tail thrashing in the air,_\n\n_Back arced up with neediness;_\n\n_I tease but take great care_\n\n_To show you your new body_\n\n_And all that it can offer._\n\n_Your animal enticement_\n\n_That was mine alone to proffer._\n\nThe man then shakes his foxy head\n\nAnd looks around surprised.\n\nHe sees the spirits of the world\n\nWith gleaming amber eyes.\n\nWhen he turns to the woman\n\nHe sees her true form there:\n\nA nine tailed fox is standing proud\n\nWith shining fiery hair.\n\n_Now I have much to teach you_\n\n_And you have much to learn._\n\n_You could leave me if you want to_\n\n_And my knowledge you could spurn._\n\n_Or you could follow closely,_\n\n_It really is your choice._\n\n_In a century you'll grow a tail_\n\n_And find your real voice._\n\n_Then in another hundred years_\n\n_Your tails will number three,_\n\n_And I can help you make it there_\n\n_If you follow me . . ._\n\nHis thoughts were stopped, his hackles raised\n\nHe loosed a hacking sound.\n\nAs something from inside of him\n\nHe then spat out on the ground\n\n_Oh there it was, I told you_\n\n_Of the ball I lost before._\n\nShe grasped the shining silver thing\n\nWith promises in store.\n\n_You'll find an orb as well, you know,_\n\n_When your tails number eight,_\n\n_And maybe when you have all nine_\n\n_Then you can be my mate . . ._\n\nAnd then she walked away from him\n\nAnd padded towards the trees.\n\nThe man's foxy mind was racing\n\nWith possibilities.\n\nWith a start, he trotted after her\n\nTaking leaping vulpine bounds.\n\nThey entered in the forest there\n\nSo filled with nature's sounds.\n\nThe lessons that he learned were swift\n\nThe years flew by and by.\n\nThe seasons changing rapidly;\n\nNew foxy things to try.\n\nHe had to start with just one tail,\n\nBut gained his other eight.\n\nAnd the one who helped him do so\n\nThen became his perfect mate.\n\nTwo female fox's mischief\n\nWas know throughout the lands.\n\nTheir forest was made sacred\n\nAnd spared from human plans.\n\nSo let the be a lesson,\n\nAnd all that it entails:\n\nThere's just one way to skin a fox\n\nBut several to find tails.\n\n \n \n\n","series":{"name":"Verse and Other
