# Chapter 4 part one of my first strory

The fist part of chapter four

 **Chapter 4: A new day**

When he  
awoke the next morning Shay realized that the bed was shredded and there where  
long gashes in the wall above the head board, he sighed and got out of the bed,  
this wasn't the first time this had happened and Shay knew it wouldn't be the  
last. It was the same thing each time he would wake up and the bed and whatever  
was close to it would be in ruins shredded to pieces , Shay just hoped that his  
new parents would not be to mad at him. Shay started to strip the bed of the  
shredded strips that used to be the covers and sheet. Shay was unsurprised to  
find that all of his wounds were healed he knew they would he just had to rest  
and let them. After he was done taking off the old shredded bed clothes he  
searched through the drawers looking for clean sheets and covers, after a few  
minutes of searching he found them some plain white bed sheets and a blue with  
black dots cover when he finished making the bed he then put on some clothes he  
found in the drawers by the bed, then Shay walked over to the bedroom door and  
opened it he found that both James and Nick were sound asleep on the couch and  
smiled, he like both of them a lot and was glad they had taken him in. he  
decided that he would go for a walk through the tunnels and see what there was  
to see, so he went over to the door and tried to open it but found it was  
locked, he smiles and then twisted the handle hard enough to force the lock to disengage  then he stepped out of the room and into the  
tunnels.

 

As he walked  
down the hallway he noticed that carved into the walls on both sides of the  
hallway were patterns and symbols some   
of them he had seen before in dreams others were completely alien to  
him. After a few minutes of walking he came to a split there was one tunnel  
that kept going straight and then another one that turned off to the left, Shay  
decided to take the tunnel to the left and soon found a large open room it  
looked a lot like a gym there were weights and different machines that he had  
seen in gyms, he watched as wolves with all different colored furs went around  
the gym doing different things he saw some that were lifting weights, some that  
were on treadmills, and others that were sparing on mats. Interested he walked  
into the large room and walked around the outer wall watching the wolves, none  
seemed to notice him he wasn't sure if that was because they just were too  
concentrated on their workouts  or if it  
was because he was a human and a pup. He watched the wolves for a few more  
minutes before leaving out a tunnel that was on the opposite wall from the  
tunnel he came from. He walk for about another ten minutes before coming to  
what looked like a garden there where purple lights mounted to the ceiling  
which he guessed helped the plants grow without sunlight, he took a few steps  
into the garden fascinated by the beautiful flowers that were growing there, he  
head a crunch and looked down, he had accidently stepped on a pink flower and  
then he heard someone yelling at him, when he looked up there was a big red  
furred wolf standing in front of him "I'm sorry Sir I didn't mean to step of  
the flower." Shay said honestly, "I don't care if you meant to or not, human  
scum, you have no place here all your good for is destroying, now get out!" the  
red wolf yelled at Shay. Angered by the wolf's words he took a step forward  
"Back off asshole, it was an accident I said I'm sorry." The wolf growled at  
Shay which made Shay madder "leave now human or else" the wolf said, Shay then  
snarled at the red furred wolf which cause the wolf to take a step back "I'll  
leave when I want I have just as much right to be here as you" he growled, the  
wolf then lashed out at Shay in anger, Shay caught the wolfs arm right before  
it hit his face, Shays hand however was now a paw much like the wolfs with the  
exception of fur that was ocean blue and claws that were a good three inches  
longer then the red wolf's claws "I said back off." Shay said in a voice that  
sounded more animal then human. The red wolf's eyes went wide in shock and  
horror as the saw Shay's paw and the voice that Shay spoke in "w what are you?"  
the red wolf asked in horror, "I don't really know but I'm not human not fully  
at least." Shay said in his normal voice before letting go of the wolf's arm,  
his hand now back to a normal hand.
