I'm glad you're okay Tails.\n\nTails-Thanks, but what do mean stuff you heard?\n\nAmy-You see, earlier we heard that some lunatic was  \ncausing havoc in a big city in another region. Jeesh that guy never learns.\n\nTails-No he does not! So anyway where are you guys?\n\nAmy-According to this Professor Roan guy. We're in a  \nplace called \"Sandgem Town\" in the Sinnoh region. You see what happened after  \nEggman caused Chaos Control; we woke up in a forest. Both of us were scared  \nbecause we had no idea where the others were, and because both you and Sonic  \nwere hurt pretty badly. So we decided to look around to see if we could find  \nyou guys. So after a few minutes of walking we came across a girl. She seemed  \npretty surprised to see us and pulled out this weird machine, and then seemed  \nfrustrated because it looked like it didn't work. Then I asked her what she was  \ndoing, but as soon as I did the girl seemed shocked that I could talk and  \ncalled us Pokémon. I didn't know what she was talking about so I asked her what  \na Pokémon was and she seemed really confused. After words me and Cream  \nintroduce ourselves and the girl said her name was Dawn and was on her way home  \nand asked us if we weren't Pokémon then what. So I explained what had happened  \nand how we woke up in this strange forest. Afterwards she told us that we  \nshould go to the Pokémon Center and get checked out.\n\nAsh-Hey wait, Amy. I know of a girl with that name  \nover there, is she with you right now?\n\nAmy-Yes she is, here I'll put her on.\n\nAmy called her over.\n\nDawn-Hey guys!\n\nAsh-Hey Dawn!\n\nPikachu-Pika!\n\nAsh-So it looks like you got into this as well.\n\nDawn-\\*sigh\\*Yep, I don't mind though I was glad to  \nhelp. See, I was headed home for my mom's birthday and just ran into Amy and  \nCream on my way.\n\nAmy-Then she took us to the Pokémon Center to get  \nchecked out. The nurse was really nice, she did some tests on us and asked a  \nfew questions like; \"What kinds of Pokémon we were?\" and \"where we're from.\" So  \nwe explained and she said that we should head over to Professor Roan's lab. So  \nhere we are!\n\nCream-So Where are you guys?\n\n(Sonic and Tails both looked at each other with  \nworried looks)\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nTails-Well, you see... After Sonic came and beat  \nEggman, we went back to the Pokémon Center to get both of us and Ash's Pokémon  \nchecked out. Of course we were worried about you guys and I was upset because  \nwe had no way to find you. So Ash suggested that we go to Professor Oak, a  \nPokémon scientist. So we did, and explained what happened. Then he asked Sonic  \nwhere he ended up and he said. That he wound up in a place called the \"Johto  \nregion.\" Then he said that people kept trying to catch him. I asked why they would  \ndo that, when Ash said that they probably thought he was a Pokémon and were  \ngoing to catch him to add him to their teams, and have him fight alongside  \nthem.\n\nAfter hearing this Amy and Cream were both just  \nstunned, and looked at Dawn and Professor Roan in fear, and freaked out a  \nlittle.\n\nSonic-Amy calm down!\n\nAmy-Calm down! Sonic, didn't you just hear Tails?!  \nThese humans are crazy, if they think we're just going to become their slaves  \nand fight they've got another thing coming!\n\nTails-AMY, it's not like that! Pikachu himself said  \nthat they aren't forced to fight; they fight alongside because they want to.\n\nPikachu-He's telling the truth, I'd do anything to  \nprotect Ash because he's more than my trainer, he's my best friend!\n\nAsh-Tails is right Amy, each of us love are Pokémon.  \nWe don't just mindlessly have them fight against each other. We battle to build  \ntrust and to bond.\n\nAmy-So, you guys aren't just capturing Pokémon to  \nforce them to fight, but you're doing so to bond? That's just weird.\n\nProfessor Oak-I can see where you're coming from  \nAmy, but it's not mindless violence. Trainers and their Pokémon battle as a  \nmeans of becoming stronger and to grow.\n\nAmy-Well, okay. I guess if it's not done with a  \nmeans to just hurt others, then I guess it's alright.\n\nSonic-Well now that's settled, we need to think  \nabout what to do next.\n\n(Professor Roan moved the camera back towards him)\n\nProfessor Roan-It sounds like the best thing to do  \nright now is get you all together. Because if what Professor Oak said is true,  \nthan we need to find those emeralds as soon as possible and it sounds like you  \nwould be able to do that better together. Plus, it would probably be a good  \nidea to keep you guys in one place, because Trainers might confuse you with  \nPokémon.\n\nAmy-Yeah, I agree. What do you think Cream?\n\nCream-Do you even need to ask?\n\nSonic-Great, so when do you think get here?\n\nProfessor Roan-I should be able to fly you over  \nthere tomorrow.\n\nAsh-Sounds good, want to tag along Dawn?\n\nDawn-I'd love to Ash, but I can't my mom is  \nexpecting me to be there for her birthday. However, if you need me just give me  \na call.\n\nAsh-Okay, I guess I'll see you later. Bye.\n\nDawn-Bye.\n\nAmy-Well, I guess we should get ready for tomorrow.  \nSee you later guys.\n\nSonic-Bye.\n\nTails-See you later!\n\n(With that Amy hung up)\n\nProfessor Oak-Well, now that's settled. Why don't  \nyou guys relax.\n\nSonic-Thanks We'll do that.\n\nProfessor Oak-Tails, would you like to give me a  \nhand studying the Chaos Emerald?\n\nTails-Sure, Guys, I guess I'll see you later.\n\nSonic-Be careful.\n\nTails-I will.\n\n(With that they both went into Professor Oak's lab  \nand the second Tails walked in his eyes were as big as dinner plates.)\n\nTails-WOW what a lab, look at all this stuff!\n\n(Tails said with his tails waging happily)\n\nProfessor Oak-Yeah, it sounds like it's not as elaborate  \nas yours, but it gets the job done.\n\nTails-Well, that's a bit much. I mean I just love  \nworking with, and inventing stuff. I mainly just work on my plains and come up  \nwith things to keep my friends safe from Eggman.\n\n(Professor Oak nodded and said)\n\nProfessor Oak-Your friends are lucky to have a  \nfriend like you.\n\n(Tails Blushed and said)\n\n\u0026nbsp;Tails-Well, I might not be as strong as Sonic and  \nthe others, but I do what I can with my plains and such.\n\n(With that they both walked up to an odd machine)\n\nTails-What's this thing?\n\nProfessor Oak-It's a scanner that scans an objects  \nelements and if it has any energy inside and what kind it is.\n\nTails-Wow, that's so cool!\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nProfessor Oak-Yes it is it took a good long while to  \nbuild and has become a big help in my studies.\n\nTails-I can imagine. So are we going to use this on  \nthe emeralds?\n\nProfessor Oak-Yes, would you put yours inside it?\n\nTails-Sure.\n\n(With that Tails put the yellow emerald in the  \nscanner, and Professor Oak scanned the emerald and noticed something strange)\n\nProfessor Oak-Hmm, that's strange.\n\nTails-What?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nProfessor Oak-Well, the energy being given off seems  \nstrangely familiar.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nTails-Familiar, but how?\n\nProfessor Oak-I wonder.\n\n(With that Oak walked over to a shelf and picked up  \na strange green stone that looked like it had a lightning bolt pattern on it.)\n\nTails-What's that?\n\nProfessor Oak-It's a Thunderstone; it's used for  \nevolving electric type Pokémon.\n\n(Tails looked confused and said)\n\nTails-How does it do that?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nProfessor Oak-\\*sigh\\* I guess being you're not from  \nthis world you don't know much about Pokémon, so allow me to explain. This  \nworld is full of creatures known as Pokémon which are broken down into 17  \ntypes; normal, water, fire, electric, psychic, dark, dragon, steel, bug,  \nflying, ghost, fighting, ice, grass, rock, ground, and poison. And each of them  \ndepending on its type can learn four moves of those types and as they get  \nstronger they evolve into its next form. For example the fire type Charmander  \nevolves into a Charmeleon and that evolves into a Charizard. However, some  \nPokémon can use these stones to evolve.\n\n(Tails again looked confused and said)\n\nTails-Okay, I think I get the gist of it. It looks  \nlike we've got a lot to learn about this world.\n\n(Professor Oak nodded and said)\n\nProfessor Oak-Anyway, the energy giving off by those  \nemeralds is very similar to the energy given off by these Evolutionary stones.\n\n(So with that Professor Oak took out the emerald and  \nput in the Thunderstone.)\n\nProfessor Oak-Just as I thought.\n\nTails-Did you find something?\n\nProfessor Oak-See for yourself.\n\n(So Tails looked at the screen, and when he did  \nTails eyes nearly popped out of his head)\n\nTails-Wow, these readings are almost identical, but  \nhow is that possible!? The Chaos Emeralds are from a completely different  \nuniverse, so why are there energies so similar to the Evolutionary Stones!?\n\nProfessor Oak-Well, it seems that these stones just  \ngot more mysterious. I think that's enough for now, want to take a break for  \nsome dinner? After all from what you and Sonic said earlier, you two must be  \nstarving.\n\n(Soon after Professor Oak said that Tails stomach  \ngrowled causing him to blush)\n\nTails-Yeah, I guess we've been so focused on  \neverything that'd I completely didn't realize how hungry I was.\n\n(Professor Oak laughed and said)\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nProfessor Oak-Well, then let's get the others and see  \nwhat to do for dinner.\n\nTails-Sounds good.\n\n(With that they went back into the living room where  \nthe rest of the gang were)\n\nSonic-Hey Tails, how'd it go?\n\nTails-Well, it was interesting. Anyway, me and  \nProfessor Oak were wondering if you guys would like to get dinner.\n\nAsh-Sounds good, I was getting hungry.\n\n(So everyone started thinking, when Ash got an idea)\n\nAsh-\\*snap\\*Brock!\n\nSonic-Who's that?\n\nAsh-He's  \na good friend of mine; we used to travel a lot and he's a great chef. He's  \nactually not too far from here.\n\nSonic-Well, then what are we standing around talking  \nabout it? Let's go!\n\n(Sonic was about to run out the door, when Tails  \ngrabbed his arm)\n\nTails-Sonic wait! We don't want to create any  \nunnecessary attention to ourselves.\n\nAsh-He's right; people might confuse you two with  \nPokémon and not to mention it'd cause problems for Professor Oak.\n\nSonic-Okay, but how are we going to get there  \nwithout being seen?\n\nProfessor Oak-I'll drive us there, as long as we  \nkeep a low profile. We should have no problem.\n\nSonic-Well, as much as I hate moving slow. I guess  \nit's the best decision.\n\n(So with that Professor Oak gave Brock a call)\n\nBrock-Hello?\n\nProfessor Oak-Hello Brock?\n\nBrock-Ahh Professor, what can I do for you?\n\nProfessor Oak-I was wondering, me and a few friends  \nof mine could head over to your place for dinner?\n\nBrock-Sure, I guess I could use some company. You  \nsee the rest of the family went to the Johto region.\n\nProfessor Oak-I see. By the way, two of my friends I  \nthink you're going to like.\n\nBrock-Okay, and why is that?\n\nProfessor Oak-Oh you'll see why when we get there,  \nplus we've got quite a story to tell you.\n\nBrock-I look forward to hearing it. I'll get  \neverything ready for you all.\n\n(With that the gang got into Oak's car and drove to  \nthe Pewter City Gym. Once there they knocked on the door and were greeted by  \nthe Gym leader himself Brock.)\n\nAsh/Misty-Hey Brock!\n\nBrock-Ash, Misty longtime no see! How've you each  \nbeen?\n\nAsh-Fine.\n\nMisty-All right, just been busy with the gym. I'll  \ntell you more about it later.\n\nBrock-Sounds good. So how've you been Professor?\n\nProfessor Oak-Well, things have gotten a bit  \ninteresting. I made a couple new friends.\n\n(Brock looked down and saw Sonic, and Tails)\n\nSonic-Sup?\n\nTails-Hello.\n\nBrock- Wow, they talked! Let me guess, these are who  \nyou wanted me to meet?\n\nProfessor Oak-Yep, and boy do we have a story to  \ntell you.\n\nBrock-I bet.\n\n(With that each of them walked inside, but Ash  \nlooked confused and said)\n\nAsh-Wow Brock, you took that so calmly.\n\n(Brock looked at Ash and said)\n\nBrock-Yeah, well with all the stuff we've seen  \ntogether nothing surprises me anymore.\n\n(Professor Oak laughed at this and said)\n\nProfessor Oak-Ha, I know what you mean. The world  \nsure is a strange place.\n\nAsh-Hey Brock, where is everyone?\n\nBrock-They're all away for a family reunion, I  \nwould have gone, but someone needed to stay behind and take care of the gym and  \nthe Pokémon. To be honest, it's kind of nice to have some peace. I love the  \nlittle guys, but it does take its toll.\n\nAsh-I can believe it.\n\n(With that the gang sat around the table and waited  \nfor their dinner. They each talked about this and that. When Brock brought out  \na pot of soup)\n\nTails-Wow, that looks good. What did you make it  \nwith?\n\nBrock-Oh, some vegetables, a few herbs, and a tomato  \nberry for some heat.\n\nTails-Mmm, makes me hungry just thinking about it,  \nbut what is a tomato berry?\n\nBrock-Huh, you don't know what a tomato berry is?\n\n(Tails shook his head)\n\nSonic-Nether do I.\n\nBrock-That's weird; I've never met a Pokémon that  \ndidn't know what a berry was.\n\nTails-But that's the thing, me and sonic aren't  \nPokémon.\n\n(Brock looked completely confused and looked at the  \nProfessor)\n\nProfessor Oak-That's one of the things we wanted to  \ntalk about, but let's discuss that later. That soup smells so good; I don't  \nknow how much longer I can wait.\n\nBrock-Right I do have a lot of questions, but I  \nguess I'll wait until later.\n\n(So with that Brock served everyone the soup and  \ngave Pikachu some Pokémon food. Everyone loved the soup especially Tails, he  \neven asked for seconds. It wasn't long before the whole pot was empty. After  \ndinner everyone helped clean up and then all gathered round, and for the second  \ntime told the story of what happened over the last few hours.)\n\nBrock-\\*sigh\\*Wow, and here I thought I'd seen it all.  \nSo you two are not only a different creature than Pokémon, but you're from a  \ncompletely different universe.\n\nTails-Yeah, I'm glad that we found Amy, Cream, and  \nChow. But, I'm still worried about Knuckles. He can be a bit of a hot head.\n\n(Sonic laughed and said)\n\nSonic-Ha that's the understatement of the century,  \nbut don't worry too much about him. He can take care of himself.\n\nTails-Yeah, I guess. I just can't help but worry.\n\n(Ash looked at Tails and said)\n\nAsh-Hey don't worry we'll find him, right professor?\n\nProfessor Oak-Without a doubt, I've already contacted  \nthe professor's from the other regions and told them to be on the lookout for  \nany other strange creatures.\n\n(This put everyone at ease, and Tails said)\n\nTails-I can't wait to see Amy, Cream, and Chow tomorrow.\n\n(Sonic looked at his friend and said)\n\nSonic-Yeah, I know. Once we're all together we  \ncan focus on finding the emeralds and getting back home.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n(Everyone just smiled and continued to talk for a  \ncouple hours. Just then Pikachu who was resting on Ash's lap yawned deeply. Ash  \nlooked at him and said.)\n\nAsh-You tired buddy?\n\n(Brock looked at the clock and said)\n\nBrock-It is getting late, you guys can stay the  \nnight if you'd like.\n\nProfessor Oak-You sure it won't be a problem?\n\nBrock-No don't worry about it; I guess I was feeling  \na bit lonely anyway.\n\nProfessor Oak-Okay, I guess I'm a little too tired  \nto drive anyway.\n\n(With That Brock showed everyone to their rooms Once  \nSonic and Tails got to theirs they both sat on their beds and just talked)\n\nSonic-Well, it looks like things are finally to come  \ntogether.\n\nTails-Yeah, I just hope they don't get hurt. Back  \nwhen we were on earth Chris and his friends and family kept getting in some  \nscary scrapes with Eggman.\n\nSonic-I know what you mean buddy, they did  \nhave a hard time with him. But I'm not that worried. These humans have these  \n\"Pokémon\" by their sides, and it looks like they can hold their own pretty  \nwell.\n\nTails-Yeah, earlier Professor Oak was telling me  \nabout them. Let's just say we've got a lot to learn about this world, it's  \nalmost as crazy as ours.\n\nSonic-Ha, sounds like fun. Well, I'm getting pretty  \ntired good night buddy.\n\nTails-Night.\n\n(With that the two friends fell asleep for what felt  \nlike forever. Meanwhile however in a strange base in a remote desert.)\n\nEggman-Hmm, interesting this energy from this  \nevolutionary stone is similar to the Chaos Emeralds.
